Built for 40 pounds of boost but makes over 900hp with just 14? Jeeze...

A little expensive for my taste, but I do like it.

Best described as 'silly'.

The interior is horribly tacky. The re-styling is.. a bit much. And it has a five speed manual, clutch pedal and all, but it uses as paddle shifter???

Not a fan.

According to this month's Hot Rod (where I originally saw this) it's fully paddle shifted, and you don't use a clutch to shift.

I assume the clutch is only there to get the car rolling. That would help the take-offs massively compared to other sorts of semi-auto trannies.

It's got a custom aluminium rad core support... wow

My Datsun had one of those too, I made it from a piece of road sign when the original rad brackets came apart in my hand. It was custom made too.

And the centre of gravity has been lowered... for an aggresive look! Christ, the last time I saw a centre of gravity that low, I hid in a bush and whimpered. The boy-racer 'sports turbo performance racing mesh' really does it for me.

And talk about that fuel tank - sumped AND baffled? Woah there Daddy-O, that's almost too much surge protection for one car, ALMOST:D! Did they take their ideas from, say, most modern production cars? Ingenious.

It's even got DVD Sat Nav, XM Radio, MP3, WMA, iPod, Bluetooth, 60 gig hdd and WiFi connectivity - my Toyota also has that! Well, when I take a laptop along with me and stick it to the dashboard. Like they have done.

/sarcasm

I don't like it that much. It looks too jumped up and the interior is horrible. If they had done all that work (well not the tacky TFATF interior and lights and stuff) and left it looking stock, I would be far more impressed. I can appreciate the work they put in and there's undoubtedly some excellent engineering going on, but not much else

I like the idea of an integrated roll cage, I wonder how hard that would be to pull off myself (I have plans to build a modernised Morris Minor for me old mum)

^I just noticed that the only comment they've got is from Max Powahh.

These are the same people who think that putting a bean can and a rear wing on a Saxo means it's a good modified car.

dude i lawled pretty hard:D

But I refuse to buy one till I see some pictures that don't look like they have been professionally Photoshopped.

And I would much rather have a large front mount than those funky coolers that seem(to me anyway) to be built just to say "buy me you probaably havent seen a setup like this before!"

If I had the money to blow I would buy one and bitch when it didn't have exactly 847.8hp.

Reminds me of some video on youtube where some random lady was talking about some expensive car and pointed out shit like 'racing harness' and 'carbon fibre' completely oblivious to the fact that sort of shit is the norm in supercars these days.

So they took the idea behind the muscle car, where you have as little extra shit as possible and just the bare minimum to make an "omfg powerful car!11" and added more shit to it than some people have in their houses. I was surprised and disappointed that there's no kitchenette.

The owner must be the spoiled son of some rich fuck and look like this:

Doubtful, you see the tight pink shirt would hinder his movement and the oddly placed cap would create a blind spot.

Besides, I have God on my side, because he hates popped collars too.

people can put a pricetag on a project car.
Just like on ebay where people put a high starting price with a reserve price.
Then, when the auction closes, there are zero bidders, or nobody comes close to the reserve.
That'll be the case with this car, is my guess.
Take it to the Barret-Jackson auction and it probably will get more than $100k, but I doubt it will get more than $200k.

Pretty much. Unless it has over a million bucks in the car and proof of purchase for every dollar, I can't even see how it would be worth that much. And even then the resale value of the parts wouldn't even be what they cost new.

A million is a lot of money to put into a car.

I mean, one of the worlds fastest cars, the Bugatti Veyron, costs just over a million. The Lamborghini Reventon costs over a million. A lambo paintjob costs $20,000.

I mean, it is possible that they just purposely bought the most expensive parts they could possibly buy for it, and they may all add up to maybe MAYBEEE $500,000. The rest of the price comes with labor, and the fact that it's one of a kind.

And fuck you guys, that is a pretty fucking sweet car. You can't even say that you wouldn't drive it if you had the chance.

I'd drive the shit out of that car for sure.

..I just wouldn't pay a mil for it. If I had a couple mil I'd probably just buy a Skoda factory and set it on fire or something.

You could buy 21 and a half gallons of clearcoat for that much! I'm talking ZR1 clearcoat. For $1,300,000 I'd make a downpayment on a F50GT.

That isn't the point of a muscle car at all.

Not to mention, that car doesn't even have too much shit. I see nothing out of the ordinary that would be in any other supercar.

This car is pretty much a high priced , one off , kit car.
It has no pedigree like a Bugatti or such.
The mechanics working on it make probably $30 per hour, if they're lucky.
The labor probably won't add up to $100k, if that..

And they charge for fucking shipping!

Q: Can the car be delivered to my door?
A: Yes. At an additional charge, we can ship the car, fully insured, to anywhere in the continental United States using duPont Registry’s preferred transporter, Exotic Car Transport.

Wish I could just fill out a form and offer 2 grand lol. Douches.

Yeah, but you're a douche bag though.

A muscle car isn't supposed to have a bunch of fancy ass shit beyond the engine. In my mind at least.

edit: and how about the fucking tv with the dvd player, wifi internet access, and built in navigation system?
