Hey there, I just got my hands on some lsd capsules, took one and like 5 hours later NOTHING happened. What's the deal did I get screwed or are you supposed to take them a certain way?

For future reference LSD usually comes on either sheets of paper known as blotters, in liquid form that gets dropped onto candy, or in windowpanes or gellies which are kind of like jello, keep that in mind next time you try to get LSD OP.

If you really wanted to make sure that they are bunk and you have another one, you could break it and put it under your tongue and leave it set for about 10 minutes.

Stomach acid will destroy LSD. Shoulda have held it under your tongue. And just so you know, you can test acid to make sure it's real with Ehrlich reagent. Check the link below, I sell the shit. The reagent that is, not LSD. You just put a drop of it on a sample of whatever dose and if it turns purple it is LSD. Also tests for psilocybin, DMT and other tryptamines.

That's peculiar... Last time I touched cid I put 3 drops of liquid LSD on my tongue, kept it there for about 20 seconds while I pondered my mistake of letting too much fall out of the dropper, then just said "fuck it" swallowed it. I still tripped so hard I thought I was going insane during the 5 hour initial peak.

Needless to say the rest of the evening was spent at the beach floating in 2 feet of warm, late summer, Florida water while staring up at the heavens completely losing myself in the cosmos.

Stomach acid is HCl. LSD is very sensitive to halogens and will form the inactive chloro-LSD. Read the LSD entry in TIHKAL.

it has been occasionally dropped on pills, but microdots are not very common nowadays...

get blotter, gel tabs, candy or sugar cubes with it dropped on it....

unless you see them put the liquid onto the medium assume that the "double dropped/stacked" shit to be bullshit.... but then again i have had my dealer drop like 5 hits onto a peach ring gummy candy thing... with sugar coated gummy candies like sour patch or the peach o things you can usually tell that liquid has been dropped on it...

yeah, even on things like sweet tarts you can usually see a little hole it's melted away on the surface, not saying that that definitly means its acid, but its an okay indicator that something other than water has been dropped on it.

I always get blotter normally. Like, always. Pretty good blotter, too, by and large. And I've been doing acid for a couple years. I always take it sublingually.

Just recently, though, I bought ten sugar cubes for a little Christmas tripping with my brother. I took one of them to test it out and I chewed it up and swallowed it--barely felt the acid, and from everyone I've talked to who has taken these sugar cubes are supposed to be fucking excellent.

Now, I'm figuring that since I just chewed and swallowed these cubes, the acid didn't sit well with the other acid in my digestive system and got degraded pretty hard. How is one supposed to take sugar cubes? They just dissolve in your mouth and turn to lots of liquid, so it seems near impossible to take it under the tongue. Especially because we plan on each taking four of them.

Little help here? I don't wanna have spent $100 on good acid and get nothing out of it.

I had my hardest trip ever from sugarcubes that I just ate. I didn't hold them under my tongue or anything, popped them in my mouth, one chomp, and swallow. I even posted here immediately after worried that I was supposed to do something else. But anyways, that leads me to not really buy that "stomach acid destroys it", unless the cid from the sugar cubes just dissolved into my system absurdly fast (within seconds)

Yeah, just gotta let it dissolve. If there's too much saliva and whatnot to keep from swallowing it I guess all you can do is do the cube in halves or something. Just let it dissolve and swish it around in your mouth for a while. All you can do is try your damndest to keep it there.

Man, I have never seen blotter in my area, its always in liquid form and its always decently good. I've always wondered why this is...

Anyway, I've never really left acid dripped on anything in my mouth more than five minutes (except when it was on gum) and I've always had pretty strong trips, maybe the acid isn't as great as everyone says or something else biologically is going on in your digestive tract, who knows. Hopefully some of those sugar cubes are good though.

Yeah, it's only really a concern for me because my buddy, with whom I have tripped many times, and who is by no means just another stupid hippie, has told me that this acid is better than average.

It just strikes me as odd that I felt so little from one hit, whereas he took 1 1/2 hits and spoke of light visuals and a not-incredible but decidedly acidic headspace.

I never put much stock in the stomach acid fucks acid story until recently, when I just, you know... unceremoniously swallowed that sugarcube dose.

Hell, two doses versus one is a whole other ballpark to begin with. Acid has a pretty steep curve for "this will fuck you up harder than that lower dose," anyway. Two versus three, three versus four. Point is, the game gets changed a lot whenever you stack on even one more hit.

(Well, unless it's the difference between 30 and 31 hits, or something else just fucking OUT THERE. Madness is madness.) : )

Those were blotter. Those I always kept in my mouth most of the trip - or until I forgot and finally swallowed them. Though if I remember correctly, the last few rows of ten I just chewed up real well and didn't keep them in my mouth that long.
