Are you from Italy? If not then you can shut the fuck up right now, because I AM. Its a fact that most of New York's italian residents are of Sicilian descent, because they were the first to leave italy all those years ago. The majority of sicilians went to new york, while few others ended up in canada. The non-sicilian italians followed about a decade later, but in much fewer numbers. Most real italians decided to stay in italy.
As for my argument that sicilians arent italian, its a long-ongoing debate among italians and sicilians alike. We real italians choose not to acknowldge the siclians as being italian because of their affinity for causing trouble, dressing like whores and pimps and flaunting themselves all over praising themselves for how italian they are.
Combine the fact that sicilian men are more ill-tempered and less 'supplied' in the pants region than their mainland counterparts, and the fact that sicilian females are loud, obnoxious, and never seem to be able to shut the fuck up, and you'd agree.
I apologize for getting in your face like this, but I have a strong desire to make everyone understand there is a difference between italians and sicilians. Theres a reason they were kept on that god-forsaken island. That reason is they are the ones who make italy look like a joke.
