Alcoholism and domestic abuse/violence
Just was thinking before, we've all known of certain relationships where there has been violence involved mainly as a result of excessive alcohol intake.
I was in a relationship last year drinking profusely, unhappy, with a girl I can only describe as psychotic.
We had many-a-horrific argument often ending in mutual acts of violence to each other where I'd have horrible purple bite marks up my arm and she'd have a bruise or 2 up her arm or on her side, it sounds like I've started the conflict, but with someone like her going crazy over some girl with big tits on the TV that she thinks I like and laying into you to a ridiculous extent theres not much you can do in retort short of phoning the police.
I'm posting this interested in people's opinions on how far you can physically go in a violent conflict with a woman (psychotic/suicidal) in the case.
Like it's not "Wife beating" in any sense of the word, but I went through a bad ordeal and came out with several of who I called my "so-called-mates" threatening me taking her side 'cause they were trying to get a piece (I learned this later)
Like who the fuck tries to see things from the guys point of view when she's pulling a knife out with all sorts of threats and you restrain her and she goes crying with marks on her wrists to people and you're suddenly a scumbag.

Re: Alcoholism and domestic abuse/violence
Guys not being able to hit girls is bullshit. They want fucking equality than they should stop crying when they get a bit knocked around. I'm not talking about beating your wife for no reason. I mean when they are psychotic bitches like above mentioned. -.-

This, except it aint gonna happen soon. OP is fucked by society.
Personally the stance I take is men shouldn't hit first, and women shouldn't ask for it. If some skinny guy started shit with someone twice his size he gets no sympathy, but girls are off limits wtf?

Re: Alcoholism and domestic abuse/violence
No woman should expect no repercussions when she is violent with anyone
But, you have to understand that sometimes men, when in the heat of an argument, don't really understand how much stronger they can be and it goes too far.
I've seen girls just push their boyfriend away from them and have gotten knocked out cold. Sometimes the reaction is most certainly not equal.
It goes the other way around too, though. I've seen girls jacking their boyfriend in the face repeatidly because they said something stupid.
Both people just need to be rational about the situation, I don't necessarily think violence in any sense of the word is healthy in a relationship, but it certainly isn't all that uncommon. It has everything to do with the people involved and they both should know and respect boundries, if they don't, they must not care too much about the person their with in the first place.
Both men and women take it too far, a lot of the time.

Re: Alcoholism and domestic abuse/violence
Kay, so I'm against all sorts of abuse and violence like that but if she has fucking anger problems and is gonna hit me hard as fuck just cause she's fucking insane, then she better not be pissed off when I get angry n shit.
Too bad that shit happens anyway.
Man, fuck her.
That whole girls-can-do-shit-guys-can't is total fucking bullshit.

Re: Alcoholism and domestic abuse/violence
You have to act like the higher authority. You can only defend, not inflict more harm.
Essentially I would never hit a girl, just hold them down/restrain them.
But then again there is always the old saying:
"Never hit a girl. Ever. You can kick, choke, strangle, etc. But never 'HIT' her."
My teacher used to tell that to us in class.

Re: Alcoholism and domestic abuse/violence
i slap my girl and girls just fucking around sometimes kinda hard, ive been fought by girls and just took it. I only hit a girl once when i was really drunk and i was trying to make a bitch flinch and i accidentally hit her square in the eye. Remember theres circumstances when its ok to hit a bitch a bitch comes into your house and tries burning your house down your not gonna hit her?
