can somebody explain to me how to spot laced weed? im a bit of a weed noob

The taste is the biggest factor. You'll notice quite a chemical taste. But you most likely aren't getting laced weed unless you are paying for laced weed.

Who cares?, just smoke it. That's basically the dealer letting you rip him off.

Yeah, most of the time, your not getting laced weed......i mean if you think about it, why would the dealer take money outta his/her pocket to give you extra drugs for free, and then to not tell you???? oh and don't buy from random people, stick to your own group of friends.

Never bought laced weed, but one time a dealer of mine wanted me to help him dunk his buds in formaldehyde. I stopped buying from him.

You probably won't get any laced weed, but just smell it and examine it before you smoke it. If it tastes like chemicals when you smoke it, it might be laced.

Don't worry about getting laced weed unless it's specifically what you asked for. Like these guys said - what dealer would give you free drugs then not tell you? Doesn't really matter too much with weed but definately never buy coke or any other powder drugs from strangers.

Laced weed was more of a problem in the 70s and 80s. Not so much anymore. Dealers cut a lot of corners now to save a few bucks.

Anyway, to answer your question -- odor, appearance, and taste will be dead giveaways.

Sometimes you'll hear odd stories about dealers spraying all sorts of evil shit on pot to increase the weight, but in most cases people will just spray it with water. You'd have to be a sick motherfucker to spray raid or hairspray on the shit. I've heard you can do a cold water extraction on buds to remove most of anything sprayed on, so you can always google that.

Laced weed is another one of those druggie myths. Like bananadine and smoking catnip.

As people have mentioned already, dealers are in it for the money, or the drugs - or both. They don't give out free stuff to people.
