Default Chemical success stories.

Okay, something a little different for the community.

Hypochondriac that I am, I'm mildly worried about the amount of people I hear (both irl and here) claiming that their proscribed drugs are ineffective.

So, simple really, post here your success stories with the chemicals that you take - daily or otherwise - that help do as they're supposed to do.

Asthma salamol inhaler keep you alive? Morphine help with intense pain? Post 'em here.

Make me feel better bltc :).

I can write 10 double spaced pages the night before something is due with just 60mg or so of Adderall and preferably a bowl to hit when I can't think of anything else to write and get an A+ on it, and still have enough time left before it wears off to beat that one part of that game I've been stuck on for weeks on the first try and calculate an estimated cost of upkeep for several different cars for the number of miles I would drive in one year using an average of the mileage of the used models I've seen within my price range as the starting point. Then have a hour long, incredible fap session, make a few posts like this that are too long for anyone to bother reading but are very enjoyable to type, and have a serious emotional conversation on the phone with my girlfriend and apologize for whatever stupid shit I've done to piss her off this time with exactly the right words. All of this with a big fucking smile on my face the whole time.

I'm supposed to take Adderall every day, 20mg controlled release but I find it to be much more useful and enjoyable to take moderate doses when I have a bunch of shit to get done. Probably healthier long term to do it that way too, taking amphetamines every day, even if it's a low dose and a doctor tells you it's ok doesn't go anywhere good psychologically and I'm sure physically as well.

If my understanding of their method of action is correct, recovery time between doses is vital to both health and maximum gain in productivity. I think they should be used as an enhancement when necessary, while you should be able to take care of your day to day responsibilities sober. I used to take it as prescribed and even though I did very well in school I would completely crippled academically if I didn't take it.

It's taken me several years to be able to function in school on a day to day basis without stimulant medication, not surprising considering I've been on various kinds for years, looking back it's funny how I never made the connection between that pill I took every morning and how Ministry and Wumpscut sounded so much better at school and my consistent inability to finish my lunch. I'm not saying that something with such potential shouldn't be made use of, just that it shouldn't become a crutch, especially if you can walk just fine on your own, metaphorically speaking.

How's that for a success story? This is day 2 now and I can still just keep typing with no problem. I won't feel very successful at all by this evening, but that's the price you have to pay kinda. Usually the sheer amount of shit you can get done and the fact that you'll probably have a fucking blast doing it makes up for the comedown though.

The Fuhrer himself allegedly received intramuscular injections of methamphetamine every morning, and was fond of cocaine containing eyedrops. The japs probably used plenty meth too, it was orignally a Japanese chemist who first synthed it actually. Also, the US military used amphetamines back then, and still do today, it wasn't just the Nazis. The Air Force distributes Dexedrine to pilots, I mean, how the fuck else are you going to be able to fly a plane for 20 hours straight? They get Xanax for the comedown when they get home too, if my eyesight wasn't terrible I would probably be seriously considering attempting to become an Air Force pilot.

All armies distributed drugs to the soldiers during WWII (and many still do today)

The Japanese had their methamphetamine (shabu, which fueled the banzai charges) the americans had normal amphetamine, known as benzedrine (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Benzedrine), the german had their speed, and the red army ... hmm, don't tell me the Russians were the only ones fighting sober.

My interest in their tramadol pays for their interest in weed, which kills their pains.

i get 150 50mg pills per month. I trade about half of them to my friend for percocets.

She buys percs, but doesnt like that they affect her mind. My tramadol takes away her pain without making her loopy. So she gets pain relief without unwanted side effects and i get free percocets. Everybody wins :)

But on topic:
I take tramadol and vicodin daily for pain. Every now and then there are days I dont need it at all. Some days I have pain and it takes it away. And some days it makes no impact whatsoever.

But i just got referred to a pain management clinic so hopefully this new doc will be able to work out a better regimine.

That's very interesting. I used to have a prescription for ADHD meds when I was in elementary school. I was on adderal, then dexedrine, and I think I tried ritalin once but it made me really fucking jittery. Adderal helped me focus and calmed my impulses but I would also have rage blackouts where sometimes I would just go berzerk and try to kill people/things (good thing I was only in elementary school!). I couldn't remember anything about the blackouts really, I just remember vague flashes. I don't know if the dexedrine did that to me or not, but for some reason I went off of it and I went to learning support to help me focus and stay organized without drugs.

It's pretty funny, I was in both the learning support program and the gifted program. I was pretty fucked up in elementary school lol.

My girlfriend is taking some kind of amphetamines, I don't know what though. She apparently has ADHD too, but I keep trying to tell her she doesn't need them, and can train herself to get off them and function normally. She's taking pretty demanding classes in school, and won't believe me.

An annoying thing about her, is that she is very much against drugs. She really buys into all the propaganda about weed and shit and doesn't want me smoking, yet she takes fucking amphetamines and is technically addicted to them, just because they're legal and prescribed. So yeah, she's a bit of a hypocrite there but whatever.

I'm talking to her now about possibly trying some of her meds. I'm a bit curious of what the effects might be on me now. I don't have a lot of trouble focusing in school, but I am easily bored and I get distracted a lot at home and like to procrastinate. I also don't care quite as much about my grades as I should, but that's a different story.

Anyway, to answer the thread, benadryl and claratin work for me for their prescribed uses, and sudafed is quite a good sleep aid.

I also don't care quite as much about my grades as I should, but that's a different story.

If you tend to procrastinate normally then you'll probably have an even tougher time actually starting work when you take amphetamines. Just because they give you a lot of energy and the ability to focus doesn't mean you'll use than energy and focus to do anything productive. I mean, look at the posts I'm making tonight, perfect example of how much time and effort you can put into pointless shit on amps without even realizing it half the time. There's homework I could be doing right now but I'd rather hit a bowl and write essay long posts for people I've never met, most of whom won't read past the second paragraph.

Once/if you start doing schoolwork it'll seem a lot easier to complete than usual, especially projects or term papers and other shit like that. Assignments you'd find interesting otherwise become incredibly fascinating, but pretty much regardless of what you're doing you'll feel pretty fucking good for the first 4 or 5 hours, but the second half of the duration is iffier, especially if you don't have any other drugs and are just taking amps.

The last few hours of it's effects will be pretty rough without some kind of "landing gear" as they say. Benzos work the best, I haven't had the chance to try opiates for it but I'm sure it'd make you feel better. Alcohol will make you feel worse in the end, but having one or two drinks is better than nothing. Weed is important in this stage because you also need to eat food, regardless of how much you don't want to, because trust me, you won't want to.

I smoke weed all the time regardless but smoking on amphetamines is kinda special, it can be very psychedelic in a unique way in my opinion. Music is incredible and will drive complex visuals that neither drug would produce alone, and the euphoric effects and pleasant physical sensations that amphetamine has will be more intense. You'd think the combination would compound the potential both drugs have for causing irrational anxiety, but it actually seems to help as long as you don't overdo it.

Speakin' of rocks: anyone ever transesterificate (in a dream, of course...) methylcrack--->ethylcrack? Seems easy enough, you'd just need coke, HCl, and some good ol' EtOH. Then just the standard shotglass/NH3 job to get the ethylcrack. Might be good shit. Longer half life and greater dopamine affinity.

lol @ the stuff you find in street-cooked stuff.

As for the actual thread topic: benedryl + melatonin every night. The thing I love 'bout benedryl is that if it's not working, just take more. There was a time when I was on 150mg/night to sleep. I've since cut back a tad.

Otherwise, I also vouch for pepto. Whatever ails you, pepto fixes it (assuming it's GI-related). I love it.

Phenylephrine: If you have un-fucking-believable congestion, just crush up these little red bastards and suck 'em strait to the front lines. No stim buzz like you'd get with PSE (not as useful for other stuff either...), but they're dirt cheap and work for the worst of noseblocks.

As for stims (the non-script ones anyway...) JP's phenylalanine cocktail with extra choline and caffeine.

Why deal with a minor problem when there's a drug that can do it for you? I mean, if I have a headache and I take some tylenol, that just seems like the smarter thing to do, as apposed to dealing with the headache. Guess you're above that though?
