If I understand girls as well as I think I do, it's not so much that you're worried about him killing himself as you are worried about hurting him emotionally. He's probably not suicidal, but he's almost certainly going to be heartbroken. And even if he isn't, that's probably not something you'd be pleased about either.

But if this is a real concern of yours, tell his friends that you're worried about him. And give them permission to call you all sorts of nasty things.

I also had a gf that i didnt care about at all, She thought she loved me but i was dating her to see if i would end up liking her. I didnt. I wasnt in the situation to support a girl (which the girl i liked would need ie support as in living together) but if i was i know she would have dumped her mediocre bf. I learned that if i dont like somebody there is no use dating them.
