Recently I've quit opiates and was in the process of quitting benzos when it became a risk of losing my employment. I quickly visited my shrink who also prescribes me the Fluoxetine(prozac) and she gave me risperdal(risperidone). The pharmacist noted that there could be a RISK of a Serotonin affect from it but couldn't clarify much more.

I take 40mg of prozac(fairly large dose) a day and she prescribed me 0.5mg(second to lowest dose) of the risperdal. What is the potential danger from the mixture? Anybody who knows what they talking about I greatly appreciate quality feedback.

You're doctor and pharmacist are much much much more qualified to assess the potential interactions than ANYONE on totse.

This, and those are two drugs I hope never to be put on.

Risperdal's just going to give you this light buzz, but it's not really worth taking unless you have no weed or something. Plus I read it blocks dopamine, so that shouldn't be too good. If I were you I wouldn't take either of them, tell the bastard to give you some Xanax.
