Why do you guys sag your pants below your ass constantly? I've personally seen 75% of the black guys, that sag there pants. I've seen it a couple other times, and it's been in all sorts of movies or TV shows (i.e. cops, Road Rules, wildest police chase videos, I could grab a TV guide and list 100's). Why not wear a belt, or buy pants that fit?

I don't know. I'm pretty sure it's tied to the gang/thug/rap culture, which obviously has strong links with criminals. I know that sagged pants are something done in jail (for "bitches"), but I have no idea how it became the popular thing.

I don't do it though (well, I "sag" my pants slightly, less than or as much as most of you do; few people wear their pants 100% properly on their waist; I also don't wear baggy pants). I also hate how many, many black people walk. It's always a sort of aimless, lazy walk, instead of upright and directed. Even when I can't see someone's clothes or face in detail, their walk usually clues me in as to how much I should put my guard up. Where I grew up, this walk was always associated with shitheads, though since it's part of the general "hip-hop" culture, I see it all over the place.
