i was just wondering if anyone knew how certain drugs effect the sensation of stage fright.

first of all, im not a pussy. i was just wondering if there was something i could take to take the edge off of a huge presentation i have to give tomorrow (about DMT actually).

I have some adderal and some beta blockers. i think from a physiological point of view this should work wonderfully.

the only thing im wondering about is if the adderal will only add to my anxiety, or if it will give me more confidence. ive noticed i become paranoid on adderal, but at the same time i am also way more socially confident.

any advice? is this a stupid idea?

Opiates and amphetamines with some benzos to round it all out. You'll give the best presentation ever, provided you don't take too much and od/blackout that is.

Beta blockers will definitely help for anxiety, especially fight or flight type anxiety that you are probably having from the stage fright.

Taken together you will be very chatty and confident.

do you think it matters if i snort it? if i take it orally, how long should i do it before the presentation? i was thinking like an hour and a half.

like say, non selective vs. selective vs. mixed adrenergic antagonists?

well, you see, the problem is that i have to ingest the adderal 90 minutes before hand. i am going to be busy right up until the presentation. would that be too long for optimal peak effects?

Depends on your tolerance so we can't really reccomend you a proper dose. Just take a low dose of the adderall oral or snorted, either way it's good. Then beta blockers to kill the adrenergic effects which would make you feel more anxious and jittery.

Just think of it as being drunk and 'loose', but without being sloppy and not in control.

If you're nervous about it already, using drugs to quell your feelings will probably lower the quality of your presentation and shift your focus more on the drug's affect on you rather than the content of your presentation. If I were you I'd just do it, then afterwards get really fucking high.

I would probably go with .5-2 mg of Clonazepam, or some shots of liquor (Bit more risky, you could embarrass yourself if you over-do it.) Adderall would be good too, but I would at least drink a bit of liquor or take some benzos with it, as it always makes me a bit more anxious.
