What Do I Do?
So here's the story: So I've been addicted to opiates for some time now and have been taking enough to keep a good level in my system so I can feel normal and go on about my life. Well, I got jacked for all my shit and now have no opiates, and none are available. I can already see what is going to happen, I will get sick and all that shit. So my dad gives me some Hydros and tells me they only have 325mg of tylenol in them so I pop a whole bunch of them and go on about my day popping some every couple of hours or so. My dad has never lied to me and would never do it on purpose, but I find that they have ALOT more APAP than what he said. So over the past 24 hours I've taken 5 grams of tylenol and the 24 hour period before that I had taken 7.5 grams. WHAT THE FUCK DO I DO? Do I go to the hospital and tell them about what I did? I've done this before and had no problem, but I don't know how well my liver is handling this. And what do I do about not having any opiates? Who has been to the hospital for this problem? What happens? I've been up for 2 days freaking the fuck out about this. And please, only people with opiate issues and half of a brain reply(this forum is going to shit anymore with all these fucking kids now). I'm desperate.

Re: What Do I Do?
I've done this but unfortunately it was from Excedrin. (don't ask) Anyway... That shit combined with a real shitty diet and speed and mt. dew put me in the hospital with an "inflamed stomach" The pain was pretty fucking bad for like 2-3 days before I went to the hospital. They scanned me and such and then gave me some stomach pills. Google apap overdose and it'll give you all the info you need... Although it might scare you. I called poison control repeatedly when I was in pain but they insisted I hadn't od'd.

Re: What Do I Do?
So what do I do about the opiate w/d's? I've never had to have any kind of attention on my drug addiction. What are they going to do about it, if anything? I tried to get on suboxone or methadone but everyone wants thousands of dollars to treat anyone. My stomach is cramping up, my sides hurt a little and I'm starting to get nauseous, my back hurts, and my neck hurts. It's going to be a BAD week

Re: What Do I Do?
Your fine on the APAP. Just don't make a habit out of that.
As far as going to the hospital for opiate WD, you're more than likely going to wind up inpatient initially, first of all, so don't expect to walk out of there with a nice little bottle of Suboxone or Methadone and be sent on your merry way. If there isn't a free detox program available for you or you don't have health insurance or your health insurance doesn't cover drug detox then you can expect your wallet to be royally raped, as well.
I don't know how bad of a habit you're coming off of, or where your head/body/spirit is at over all this, but keep in mind that while it's certainly not comfortable, it is still possible to get off opiates on your own. Yeah, you're going to be sick as fuck the first few days, and it's going to suck, but in the long run getting into a Suboxone or Methadone program is just a band-aid solution that will tide you over for the time being and replace an unacceptable addiction with a socially acceptable one that you'll wind up having to face down the road at some point anyways. Unless you're one of those people who are gung-ho about eating Methadone and Suboxone every day for the rest of their life, in which case I wish you luck.

Methadone programs are basicly never free. You have either pay them or have insurence pay them. Like anyplace is going to giveaway free meds.

Re: What Do I Do?
easy does it on the tylenol. ironicly perks and vicks might be your way out to quit, i mean get your dad in on it and draw up a schedule. having outside influences helps in a taper situation, and tapering with a short acting opiod is possible, its not just something you only do with bupe and done..
