hey guys i just got out of detox on thursday morning. that was just about 6 days ago. now they gave me doses of subutex while i was in there but ive been out almost a week. i still cant sleep i have diarehha and cramps and aches. how much longer is this going to last? o yeah i was useing heroin for about 7 months

only 7 months and you are experiencing a week plus of withdrawls? that's crazy. i've been using for about a year solid but took a 4-5 day break 4 months ago and by the 4th day i was almost completely back to normal. i know i didn't answer your question but some tips to help you through it..

-drink a few beers at night to get some sleep
-take small (medicinal doses) of xanax during the day to help with anxiety/sweating
-smoke weed if you don't want to do the xanax
-keep yourself busy during the day and don't bother looking at clocks
-even if you don't have an apetite, eat some nice cold fruit salads or drink v8 juice or something healthy

ps to those of you who chime in with the whole beer/xanax as subtituting one addiction with another, it's not! after like 6 months of use i took a huge dose of xanax one night, lost all my shit, woke up the next day feeling somewhat dope sick. as the day progressed the illness went away. day two, same experience, woke up slightly ill, took only one MG of xanax that day and never felt ill again. day three i felt great, no more dope sickness and i haven't done xanax since.
