As much as I love my Zippo, the lighter fluid is constantly evaporating and it pisses me off. I've decided to go butane, but I wanna keep my kickass black and red "anarchy" Zippo lighter.

There seem to be two major competitors for butane inserts. One is called Z-Plus and seems to be pretty cheap, but it's gotten good reviews. The other is called Thunderbird, but I can't find anything on it.

Any Zippo collectors here who've used one of these two brands? Comments? Experiences?

Note: The Zippo is my main lighter for smoking the green, so this should be in the right forum.

Torch lighters (Z-Plus) burn up your weed faster. You do get monstrous hits really quickly, though.

z-plus looks fucking gay, I would go with the thunderbird...

but depends on whether you would want a torch or bic type flame...

Huh? Isn't that kind of like converting your Lincoln Mark V to run on solar power?
