Tripping inside can be fucking great man, having a safe place where you don't have to worry about anything bad happening/sitting back puffing on a hookah/living out crazy thoughts and alternate versions of reality from the comfort of a chair/whatever. Tripping inside isn't bad, but wasting time on totse should be the last thing on your mind if you took a decent dose of acid.

...maybe he was just in placebo mode during the time that you'd normally be waiting for the effects to start then, right after making the post, the acid hit him.

That happened to me the first time. I was like "man, this acid blows, I'm just gonna take the second hit (the one I was holding on to for a friend since it's obviously fake" and right when I reached for my glass of water I got an amazing visual and was all like "whoooaaa........ oh... oops."

kind of a waste of a trip? i didnt really read the thread, but if you sat in front of comp the whole time...i dunno, sometimes those trips are good, at least retrospectively, but i usually have the best trips when the atmosphere seems "made" for tripping, like certain concerts, shows, parties, etc. It might be however that part of the experience is made by me designating a situation as tripping, by making it necessarily tripping by interpreting as such. so maybe its all in perspective, but when i trip all confined like that, it usually sucks, esp. when im alone. however, some of my best trips have been in my budidies room with a close group of friends.

I didn't pay much attention to your replies. I assumed on the basis of the first post which was wrong.

Second: I don't know about you, but here there's certain people and houses who throw tripping parties out in the middle of nowhere. All the kids get shuttled up the hill with pockets full of drugs, kids go in one room, come out from the other all bug-eyed and shit. My buddy's band has played at a few parties like this, and the other weekend at one of these gatherings he did an awesome dark psy mix all night - those hippies didn't know what to think. I rather enjoyed being dosed up around all those people in that atmosphere. Cute girls upstairs and downstairs on mollie and shrooms, bud getting passed everywhere. Despite being unfamiliar with eachother and on all sorts of drugs, I had good times in these small drug parties...isloated away from the rest of the world...brings people together in a sense. Acid is a great party/music drug.
