so i've never tried suboxone before but I just got one of the eight miligram hexagonal ones. I am wondering what Is an appropriate dose to get a feel for this drug, not get completely nodded out, but just to get high?
also, I have taken two miligrams of klonopin today, and was wondering if thats a really bad combo to mix?

Based on my personal experience (there's a thread down there somewhere) I would take 2 mg.

Figuring out proper dosing requires that we know your sex, weight, and opiate tolerance.

2mg is a good amount. Let it dissolve under your tongue, when it's done keep it under for a few minutes more. Do not swallow your spit after its dissolved. It will lead to throwing up almost exactly 2 hours later.

It's funny how you can't hold water or food down. Youll feel completely fine, have a drink and then throw it up 2 minutes later. It sucks though.

I like doing it as i shower in the AM because the onset takes a while. Plateau is about 2 hours. I feel it pretty much the entire day.

start in 1mg incriments, an OD on bupe is a long drawn out uncomfortable next 24 hours...

A friend of mine did a full 8mg sub w\ NO tolerance, total opiate virgin. He puked for a full two days.

So, needless tosay, although it may not be pleasant, ODing on bupe takes alot of skill.

Maybe if you want to be extra safe, cut it into fourths, and then grind up one of the fourths to a bloody pulp. If you wanna play it extra cautious, only do like 3\4 of that in a line, and do the other 1\4 15 minutes later.

thanks for everything guys, I haven't tried it yet but i'm still concerned before I do it, about the klonopin that I have taken today, and i don't want that shit mixing and me over dosing because I know how strong subs are.

anyone? i've ingested a total of two miligrams of klonopin throughout the day and just took my final .5 is it okay to try like 1mg of the sub? how long does it take to feel it if I snort a little bit of this fucker?

If you snort it you'll feel it fully in about 15 minutes or so.

Its probably safe to take with the klonopin in your system, but if you can I would just wait until its cleared out of you. Mixing benzos and opiates has killed many BLTCers, and if you're not experienced with opiates I woldnt reccomend it.

I take 16mgs of suboxone a day along with 2mg of Ativan and the occasional xanax bar and I'm just fine.

..and no.. suboxone does not provide that enjoyable of a high so don't get your hopes up.

Edit: If people start abusing suboxone and it makes it harder to get my script I'm going to be pissed off. Take home opiates for maintenance is a privilege, and I don't want people fucking it up. Suboxone gave me my damn life back and is allowing me to go back to school and actually save up some money. I don't know what I'd do without it.

If you've got 8mg, you might as well start small. wait for it to kick in, don't just up your dose right away. I started with 1 mg (half of the tiny orange octagon one) and after 30 minutes was like, "well.. seriously, 1mg? Fuck this, I'm going to take it all"

No. Buprenorphine isn't absorbed well in the stomach. It's a sublingual medication which means you dissolve it under your tongue and it's absorbed under your tongue.
