Re: how to lockpick quartercrank candy machines?
Put gum on the quarter and put it in=Unlimited spins... until the candy runs out, of course.

Have you even seen the coin mech from one of these machines? The information from the outdated text files is no longer accurate.

Re: how to lockpick quartercrank candy machines?
Actually all the candy machines i've seen use tubular locks. So picking one really won't be that easy.
It'd be better to just get the keys to the arcade machines if you're doing this at a mall. Photo booths easily rack up 90-100 a week.

Some have wafer bar locks, which are simple. Some have 7 pin tubular locks. If you want to open one of those with ease, you need a tool which costs about $60.

Re: how to lockpick quartercrank candy machines?
A lot of them have those stupid unscrewing lock cylinders, too...you insert the key, and use it to unscrew the lock out of the gumball machine body. It sucks like hell to pick it, because you pick it, turn it about a quarter, and then you have to pick it again, over and over, because the pins keep popping back out.

Re: how to lockpick quartercrank candy machines?
I used to work at a pizza place where we had these in the lobby.
At night when there were no customers out there and the manager was on break, we would use the table kinves to pry the lid up, turn the machine upside down and dump all the candy into cups. No cash, but we got tons of rieces pieces

Re: how to lockpick quartercrank candy machines?
put a quarter in the slot on the front of the machine,
it should be approximately the right size to allow the mechanism to turn
