It wont be deadly, or even dangerous. But it will be a waste.

You cant mix other opiates with subs (buprenorephine) because bupe is a partial agonist and an antagonist. That means that it fills opioid receptor sites, which causes you to feel high, but it also blocks other opiates from filling those receptor sites.

So those other opiates will just sit in the synaptic cleft without doing anything until they are flushed back across the BBB and are metabolized away.

Also, if you have any opiates currently in your receptor sites when you take buperenorephine, it will rip those other opes out and put itself in there instead. This is why subs cause precipitated withdrawl if you are dependant and take them before you are already withdrawing.

The half life of buprenorephine is 32 hours.
That means that the amount in your system is reduced by half every 32 hours. So if you took 10mg, then after 32 hours there would be 5mg in your system. After another 32 hours there would be 2.5mg in your system. After another 32 hours there would be 1.25mg. etc etc..

So the longer you wait the less bupe there will be to bolck your OC, and given the price of oxy these days I would wait a long time to make sure that you get the most out of it.

So use the half life formula above and figure when there will be only 1-2mg of bupe left in your system and take it then. Or, if you're dependant, take it when you start feeling sick.

well, like i said it depends on how much bupe you took today. the more you have in your system the less effective the oxy will be.

But unless you took a lot of bupe you should be fine. Maybe not as high as you would normally get (again, depends on how much you took today) but i shouldnt be a total waste.

EDIT: and no, the ROA does not affect half life. especially for a long acting ope like bupe.

not to mention any receptors not occupied by the bup will be occupied by the naloxone.
