Default Energy drink ingredients

What are active ingredients found in energy drinks?
I know quite a few: caffeine, taurine, and b-vitamins however sketchy the proof is for them.

Are there any other ones, also are certain extracts good for anything energy wise?

I have recently taken up drinking redbull regularly because I have a rare blood mutation which makes me 90% more likely to get blood clots then normal people. And apparently, the taurine is a natural blood thinner. So maybe that will help me not die from clots in the next 30 years.

As for your topic ... why not drink an energy drink? Or get some sleep?

There are many other things that can help you out with that.

Holy shit man, seriously...if I had that issue I wouldn't be drinking redbull all day, I would invest in vitamin E (full spectrum) and some baby aspirin...

I've seen Ginkgo biloba in some, it seems to be a well-researched but still debated nootropic. I seem to remember seeing Milk Thistle too, but after skimming some info on it, I can't even figure out what exactly it does. I used to drink a lot of Rockstar by the way.

If you're looking for an energy drink alternative, 5 Hour Energy is ok, but they're really expensive. Besides regular ol' coffee, caffeine pills are your best, cheapest, alternative. Don't get Vivarin either, GlaxoSmithKline can kiss my ass. It's like $5 for 12 Vivarin and $2 for 50 Jet-Alert.

Monster energy is the best bang for your buck. Literally 10X more panax ginseng in there than in rockstar, and more caffeine too.

Ginseng, gingko, and milk thistle are in there, gingko and (panax) ginseng work great, milk thistle doesn't do much IME.

I just don't get E-drinks.

I drink lots of coffee. Take Taurine in cap form. Take more Ginseng than is in a drink & still something like a Monster or Rockstar seems to give me more of a buzz.

I wonder if it's partly because while coffee seems to bother my stomach & make me twitchy? The caffeine in E-Drinks is purified & lacks the irritating oils that coffee contains. An unhappy stomach is always a bummer.

lol, don't take me seriously. I don't really consider it to help at all. And I'm not really concerned about my disorder. That was just some trivia I thought was funny.

I really just like the flavor. But, I do actually have that mutation.
