well not just metal, the songs can just be "heavier" than the original.

The KSE version is holy diver isn't really heavier and it definetly isn't a metal cover of a NONMETAL song.

Bile-The copy Machine album, not really metal, more industrial distortion kind of music, they do a great cover of love stinks on there.
Metallica Garage Inc albums for the most part cover none metal songs...
These probably aren't what you are looking for, but I thought I should add them, I would check out the Bile album for sure if you don't have to pay for it...
