Suboxone/opiate sickness
No opiate tolerance, accidentally snorted half a suboxone. Sweating and puking. Should I wait it out? Drinking water, don't want to sleep.

Re: Suboxone/opiate sickness
you thought it was adderall, didn't you?
I'm guessing it was an 8mg pill, so you took 4mg.
ya woulda be fine with 2mg, but too late now.
just lay down, that will help with the nausea, and stay still. try to sleep or something.
you're not gonna od, so waiting it out is pretty much you're only option.

You'll be fine just wait it out, keep drinking water, and try to get some sleep.

Re: Suboxone/opiate sickness
Yea, pretty much just gotta wait it out. You'll be fine though, but you'll probably feel sick for at least a little while tomorrow. If you can, smoke some weed, it will DEFINITELY help. But other then that, just lay down, it will help A LOT with the nausea.

I would double up on the adderal and you should be able to get it done, good luck.
Also you should check google before you take pills to make sure there what you think they are.

Re: Suboxone/opiate sickness
Anticonvulsents if you have them. If you don't Drink some sprite or mountain dew and try to keep it down. And if that doesn't work don't drink anything for an hour and then drink a little bit and if that stays down slowly up the amount you drink over another hour.

Re: Suboxone/opiate sickness
I dont know about fighting the nausea, try some otc remedies maybe?
But buprenorephine has a 32 hour half life so you'll probably feel shitty for over 24 hours after you dosed.
Its a lesson everyone learns once with subs :)

Re: Suboxone/opiate sickness
Oh well, that was an experience, albeit a shitty one.
I'm going to flush as best as possible.
What is the word on taking addies tomorrow for my studying? Regardless of how I feel as a result of this goddamned opiod shit, Ive got to get this paper done, probably an all-nighter tomorrow.
Comments based on experience?
Thanks for the replies guys.

When did you mention this? I didn't read that up until that post.
Also, how could you get this mixed up with adderal? Subs have a VERY distinct orange flavor while adderal are just sweet. Sounds like you were just being careless. I mean, if you couldn't tell what the pill was maybe you'd give it a taste before you decide to snort it.

Re: Suboxone/opiate sickness
I did give it a taste first. I could not distinguish between the sweetnesses until I had actually snooted it. On the tongue, they tasted the same sweet.

Re: Suboxone/opiate sickness
So would Adderall for studying be a bad idea considering I still feel affected by this pill? It really is hindering my abilities to study and aderall helps greatly, but I dont want to be falling over in the library or something....

Re: Suboxone/opiate sickness
have a fun day man...
that was one hell of a fuck up, especially considering if the pills truely got wet, well, they'd be useless, but i guess they weren't soaked...
the addy should help you more than hurt you...

Anticonvulsents if you have them.
Since when are anticonvulsants effective as anti-emetic agents? And don't tell me about how Neurontin treats nausea associated with chemotherapy because that's a completely different story.

Re: Suboxone/opiate sickness
I just heard of suboxone a few weeks ago, and I've been taking some since. They can make you feel pretty damn shitty and doze off a lot. I don't like them all that much, but they're all I can get my hands on now. Good luck with your paper. And yeah, sleep can be pretty fucked up on them. Sometimes I get pretty neat closed eye visuals with them.

Re: Suboxone/opiate sickness
This has happend to me a million times on oxy. Sometimes if you have an empty stomach and then use, you'll get extremly nauseous. I can usually handle it cuz im an opiate user. But as a begginer to opiates such a high dose will fuck you up bad for 12-24 hours atleast. Iv done around 80 mgs over a 4 hour period and my dose is over 80 and iv gotten super nauseous and would throw up constantly. (Untill nothing is left in the pit of my stomach so yellow shit comes out.) So like everyone said, Wait it out and sleep it out amd take a shower itll kill the high a bit. Im pretty sure your nodding out as is, so best situation is to hit a bowl and hit the hay for 4-5 hours. (Warning @ Hitting Bowls; Iv also gotten really nauseous after a bowl or 2 and would throw up, It really depends on the last time you threw up.) And dont count on the nauseousness to end within 12 hours, Iv gotten sick like that for over 2-3 days, But i would puke and sober up and then use again to nod back out to sleep, only because i couldnt handle so much puking and feeling like shit.
