for those of you with prescripts and health insurance...
which type of insurance do you have, what prescription, and what do you pay monthly? im looking at health insurance to get some money off my benzos (do actually need, i have been diagnosed but ive never looked at getting my meds legally) but i dont know which is most affordable (looking to get either klonos or xanax, ativan is ok but not as effective as the other two ive used.)
input is appreciated.

Re: for those of you with prescripts and health insurance...
there are as many different kinds of health insurances as there are clouds in the sky.
You can get independent insurance, family, through work, etc.. Then within that there are HMOs and PPOs. And with in those there are varying levels of coverage.
I can tell you that for all of my generic drugs i pay a $10 copay for one month worth of each drug, whether that be 180 vicodin, 150 tramadol, or 20 flexeril . But some insurances may have a $50 copay, or none, or not cover prescriptions at all.
Look into what your employer offers if you can get it from work (usually thats only for full time employees and they wont let you have it unless you're in a senior/salaried position). You could also look at independent insurance companies and see what their programs are and how much they cost.
Also, look into how much your meds would cost at the pharmacy without insurance, or if you have a legit prescription you can buy them online from reputable pharmacies as well.
But it is nice to have coverage. That way if you gte hit by a bus or something you dont wind up with debt that will haunt you for the rest of your life.

Re: for those of you with prescripts and health insurance...
I have fantastic health insurance from my dad who works at boeing. I pay like 5 bucks for 90 20mg addy's every 30 days, and an additional 5 dollars for the other various stimulants my psych lets me try out

Re: for those of you with prescripts and health insurance...
I'm on BCBS through the government because of my mom's job. I pay $15 for all my generics no matter what. That includes my benzo script which is 30 2mg Ativan a month. For my suboxone which is a $350 a month medication I only pay $25 for a month's worth because there is no generic for it.
Edit: Wow, I pay some bullshit compared to you guys :(

I have Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield.
I am prescribed Suboxone monthly - it would normally cost some 450-500 dollars to fill, but since I am insured, it only cost 20 bucks to pick up.

Re: for those of you with prescripts and health insurance...
alright guys the prices look good on a few of these, now my other questions.
how can i start the process of getting health insurance, not through a job, and seeing a doctor about getting my ativan (im not looking to abuse these at all unless i get xanax or klonos)
how much money should i expect to throw down on insurance, doctor visits, and copay?
also how does the copay work? yes a stupid question but ive never obtained my medicine legally.
