There are no "halfway decent" people looking for love on craigslist. Any halfway decent person would use an actual dating site to look for a partner, and even then, it's a mixed bag between crazy people and people who just don't have a lot of luck in real life. Use an actual dating site. Never used one, but there are actually normal people who use them.

Don't use Casual Encounters. It seems that only faggots or trashy people use it. Go to the normal Men for Women section and post there.

Don't let the pimp rob you then. Come packing. Or if she's doing an incall to your place, lock the door and deadbolt it so no pimps can get in and catch you with your pants down. That said, just go to a fucking club, act friendly, flirt a bit, and say to the drunkest girl you see "let's hook up". Guaranteed lay and all you paid was some cheap cover, or if you're slick you got in for free.

Really though, here's how to get in for free to any club. If there's a big line, you're in luck. Walk through the line, grabbing the pretty girls saying "do you want to get in fast?" When you've got about 6 or more girls on your arm (hugging, hugh heffner style) walk to the bouncers and they'll let you skip in front of everyone, usually for free. If they give you trouble just tell them "ok, we'll be next door" and they'll always buckle.
