They really need to have special lines for the mentally retarded. I just got back from shopping, only had 3 items, and this bitch in front of me whipped out some kind of special card and fucked up the whole line for over 10 minutes, maybe 20. They should have a new rule that once someone passes a certain time limit the cashier has the legal right to pull out a gun and blow their head off. I've been doing my own shopping for over a decade now and never ever had any problem. They tell me the amount, I pay like a normal person, and get the fuck out of the store. Boom, bang, out. Plus this old lady put her fucking hand on my arm, probably wanted to ask what 'I am doing for fagmass' or something, and I smacked it away and gave her a reallly pissed off look. Unless you're a young girl with nice tits, keep your fucking hands to yourself.

I only use the self checkout now for that exact reason. Unless I get booze.

I am a expert at choosing the wrong line anyplace i go ..What I really hate is morons that STILL write checks..It has to be approved by the manager and there is no telling where the bastard is or how long it will take him to get there...The worst experience for me was a black woman that was buying groceries for her neighbors which had to be paid for separately..She wrote a check for her shit and fumbled for the money for the buddies..I'm glad magazines are by the checkout..

I had to deal with this shit yesterday. Guy in front of me is buying whatever item that's supposedly on sale, it doesn't ring up as its supposed to. So he throws a fit and the dumbass clerk goes off to check the price. Leaves everyone just standing there. While she's walking around we see her stop and talk with other employees etc. I was pretty much ready to leave the store and my $200 worth of groceries right there on her fucking register for her to clean up.

Makes ya wanna open the register and take the money, then leave play money in it for humor.

I hate that as well, people paying with change are even worse, the other day there was this guy who paid 30 euros worth of shopping with coins, I was really hangovered and in a bad fucking mood I really felt like hitting him in the back of the head.

the absolute worst in my book are those fuckers who pay with checks. i am looking at you little old lady. why the fuck dont you have cash/plastic. i dont want to stand behind you while ask for the date, wait for the total, write it in, realize you spelled the stores name wrong, write it out again, forget you had a coupon, get your new total, then write out another check, this time with the new 5 cent reduced price. fuck you old people in lines fuck you.

The other thing too, is that people still don't know how to properly swipe a credit card/debit card. I've seen people (primarily old people) trying to swipe their cards in all manner of ways - upside down, and with the magnetic facing the roof, rather than the reader - for instance. The more annoying thing, though, is the people who will say that *product* was actually *different price*, so the dim-witted clerk goes to check, and then, it turns out that the product did in-fact scan correctly, and the customer was mistaken. There should be a dedicated line for old people, and for retards, or maybe supermarkets should offer free euthanasia.

I was at walmart the other day, and two of the most obnoxious, white trash, inbred, redneck hick girls were there too. They had just bought a bunch of stuff for a party, and they were complaining how much it all cost.

First they were complaining about a party platter that they claimed was $10 when they picked it up, but between that time and the time they paid for it, walmart employees changed the price to $14 to rip them off. One of them went back to the display, came back, and started complaining to the other girl that "it was $10 when we were over there! I just went and looked again and they changed the price. I know it was $10. They're just tryin' to fuckin' rip us off! Fuck this shit, Imma return this. I ain't payin no extra $4!"

I started laughing and walked away when they (no joke) started complaining that something that they had bought was supposed to be 3 for $1, but instead they were charged $.32 each for them. /facepalm.
