Lets say your getting into opiates. You start off using hydrocodone/codiene/pods/tramodol...etc. these opiates are weaker than the more powerful opiates like heroin/oxycodone/hydromorphone..etc and thus they ARE less addictive.

if your still getting high on low-medium doses of these sort of weak opiates DO NOT
i repeat DO NOT move up to stronger opiates. once you start over stimulating yourself you cant go back. ever.

even if you dont get addicted ( most defiantly a chance of not going there) you will most likely always need those stronger opiates. even if your tollerance drops down as far as you can get it.

example: i have been tampering down off of heroine sence june. i didnt want to use heroin one time so i bought some hydrocodone. i hadnt used in a couple weeks so my tollerance should have been pretty low. i know half of a .1 bag would have got me high. VERY high actually. i ended up taking 75mg cwe'd hydrocodone. i got sick from so much and threw up a few times. but i did not get high. well ok i got high but it wasnt pleasurable no euphoria just nods. and a good amount of memmory loss. it was nothing like it was 4 years ago ( then 3.5) when i first started using opiates.

so please god dont use stronger opiates unless the weaker opiates really arnt working any more. you dont wanna be stuck where i am and many other people aswell.

Yeah man I started off using hydrocodone also and then a guy I worked with offered me half a methadone one day, It has been my drug of choice ever since. Mostly because of the long halflife.

i know alot of older drug users. alot are vic whores. they would NEVER do such an evil drug like heroin. so they never did. most started off on vics and most still only take vics. the people who have kept with there vics still get high off of them after taking them for many years. i am only 20 and only been using opiates for 4 years. after only four years of opiate use i am unable to get high off weak opiates. i miss them.

Maybe that's why I hated codeine so much. I started backwards lol. My first opioid was oxycodone, then I used hydrocodone, then I used codeine. Codeine didn't really do anything but make me itchy.

yup that is why. to expierence the most out of opiates you must start out with the weakest and work your way up the pleasure ladder. i took the elevator g/d.

why don't you just take 5mg and let your mind amplify the effects? like you do with weed?

I stopped getting high when I started shooting up. I sure as hell miss the good ol' days of being able to chew a 40 and actually have a good time.

I'm on suboxone and trying to live a straight life now and so far I've been successful, although I've been craving daily. The only thing that kept me going on the oxy was the physical dependence and the nostalgia because I sure as hell wasn't getting high.

Needles make getting high a whole new ballgame and introduce a whole new level of tolerance.

What if I try heroin once or twice and then try to go back to hydrocodone/oxycodone? Will that really have any huge effect?

if ur a user and ur already on the way. then u should not try stronger opiates unless weaker are not working anymore. it only took me a few times. plus h is cheaper than dirt. thats how u rationalize once youve tryed it. well atleast thats how i did it...hold off as long as possible.

ever since i started working a really hard ass job my ope use has dropped to shit. oxy 30-40mg 1 to 3 times a month.

its all about keeping the tol low. keepin the nostrils a lil cleaner.

plus smoking the herbal actually has great pain reducing effects.

Maybe if I ever become a cartel boss I would consider it, but I am just saying that most people, particually junkies would not have the cash to do that and would probably be appauled by the waste of heroin on someone who both doesn't want it and isn't concious to enjoy it.

this is true. once i started doing heroin nothin compared to it opiate wise. and it takes so little h/money to get high so it's not that expensive of a habit so you buy more
