About two weeks ago I drank half a bottle of what appeared to be codeine cough syrup which I stole from my friend's house. Two hours later I experienced a mild high with the sensation of waves flowing through my body. I then repeated with the other half of the bottle(standard cough syrup bottle, 223mgl?).

You shouldn't steal from friends. Codeine syrup was probably 60 mg per ounce.

I love that stuff, i normally drink around 1 1/2 bottles at a time... but anyway if you want to get it prescribed just drink a bottle of extremly hot hotsauce until the back of your throat is inflamed, then go to the doctor and complain of painful coughing fits and be sure to cough a lot while your there and you should get a perscription.

why does that not seem like a good idea?

3 words. "chest wall pain" it doesnt come up on x rays. just say you got into a car accedent and the air bag beat up your ribs. tell them you "think" it is broken dont use the term chest wall pain of course. the er doc will give you something. do as above said to cough alot gasp for air while coughing. shake. moan slightly you know the drill.
