taking up smoking again.
well I've been done with cigarettes for a while now, and yet it seems that I've started smoking up again.
fucking hell.
I have the will power to refuse cigarettes abnd to not smoke them, but still, that feeling of incompleteness that follows me everywhere has really gotten to me, so when drunk I decided to satisfy the craving, and this has led to more smoking, now even when I'm not drunk.
Are their ways to break not only the addiction of cigarettes but the habit too? for the habit seems to be the hardest part to give up.

Jesus Christ dude, not cool. His thread is in no way angry, sarcastic, violent, or even trollish.
That aside. There is nothing you can do to break the habit, really, there's nothing. I mean your habit is smoking cigarettes, so unless you smoke a cigarette you will not be satisfying the habit.
You could smoke herbal cigarettes that contain no tobacco, if maybe you just enjoy inhaling cancer?

Re: taking up smoking again.
It seems like you want to smoke (hence going ahead and satisfying that craving).
The only way to quit is to truly want to quit. As with anything, if your hearts not in little chance of success. Trying dipping to get your nic fix, than ween yourself off of that...

Re: taking up smoking again.
there is a way. omg. this isnt always the answer to everything. but try using a tool such as a psycadelic. if you dont like cigs then just focus on that disgust. and hopfully you come to your sences and realize you prefer a life with out cigs.

Re: taking up smoking again.
I quit smoking cold turkey and was successful. It's really easy to stop, but the hardest part is missing that feeling of comfort and pleasure. When I got really anxious and felt like going out and just buying a pack, I bought some weed instead. Rolling a nice joint and smoking it releases all that anxiety and feeds the habit of smoking. If I had better access to pot, I would smoke it everyday in place of cigarettes.
But yea, quit cold turkey. After 6 months I pretty much forgot I ever smoked.
Trying dipping to get your nic fix, than ween yourself off of that...
Terrible advice. You cannot fix an addiction by feeding it more. Patches, gum, dip... none of it really helps to quit. They can help if you want to continue the nicotine addiction, but want an alternative. Pipe smoking is a bit less dangerous because you smoke less tobacco per bowl than you would per cigarette. But if you're going to quit, just stop doing everything. It's not that hard.

Re: taking up smoking again.
Enjoy smoking tobacco as a hobby, not an addiction. It's not hard, limit yourself to what you are comfortable with, I'm comfortable smoking on average a pack of 25/7days. Thats me, I'm not addicted because I can go days/weeks without them. If you truly enjoy it, do it, just be successful with limiting yourself to which you are comfortable with.

You are aware that's how most smokers start out right?

this has always been my down fall as well. i dont really mind not having nicotine. but i love the action of rolling tobacco into a cigarette, lighting it. inhaling that sweet blue smoke, an then blowing it out in billowing clouds.
i hear that chantix stuff works miracles.

Re: taking up smoking again.
If u like the act of smoking, but dont wanna be addicted or ur concerned about health risks, then u should try taking up cigars. Blacks are good. And the smoke is thicker which makes it cooler to watch. Its just as normal as lighting cigs.

IMO, cigars are nothing at all like cigarettes. Different tobacco, different method of lighting them, don't inhale them into your lungs, etc. If you're talking about black 'n milds, they aren't cigars.
The only way to do is to man up and stop. Think twice before buying a pack, etc, etc. The first few days are the hardest. You'll probably be irritable as fuck, but that's just how it is...
Tons of people have quit. There's no reason you can't.
..unless your subconsciously choosing not to..

Re: taking up smoking again.
This is something I actually have thought alot about recently. I started smoking when I was 15, and was up to about a pack a day when I was 16 all the way through my 19th birthday, now as I approach 20, I am noticing that I am smoking more as a hobby than a habit. I keep telling myself that my addiction will ramp up, but if anything it is ramping down. I am actually decreasing the amount of cigarettes I am smoking per day and am down to about a pack every week or so. I don't know if this helps, but I figured I would put in my two cents.

Re: taking up smoking again.
SMOKE WEED :D
This. It helped me stop awhile back. The physical act of smoking is very helpful, and being stoned would help take my mind off of things/make time go by faster. Although, then again, smoking a cig when you are baked is....well enjoyable
Also, my old psychology professor mentioned this aversion therapy as being a usually effective method.
