LSD and Social Anxiety
I'm getting some blotter this weekend and I plan on taking it with a friend (who I'm comfortable around) in a isolated natural setting away from other people. I've dropped before and it was positive, however, since then I've developed a bad problem of Social anxiety...Do you think this will help me out if I put myself in the right mindset (something I'm sure I can do)...

Absolutely. Not definitely -- but if used correctly it can. As I'm sure you know, just don't go anywhere that could trigger it.

It's hard to go wrong with LSD, close friends, and nature. Enjoy.

If you think you will have social anxiety, than you probably will. Try to get some valium to ease your nerves while you trip, and you will have a better time.

THIS.
Really. THAT. If you don't have xanax or valium, or maybe even kpins or ativan, just don't do it.
It could be great, but you do NOT want to have a 5 hour panic attack.

I don't think he's saying he's worried about social anxiety while he's tripping, because like he said, he's going to be with one close friend. I think he's asking if tripping might help him figure out his social anxiety problem.
And to the OP, yes, it definitely can. I mean, it really depends on the cause of it, so it's not a guarantee, but it might help you figure out why you have that problem, and what about social situations, or certain types of people, or whatever your thing is makes you anxious/uncomfortable/etc.
So have fun, but I've always found with acid, it's best to go in with a clear mind and don't really expect anything specific out of it, because you MIGHT come out disappointed (it'd probably be a little hard to do though.)

This ^...When I'm alone (or with someone I trust) in nature I'm most relaxed and comfortable, I can't imagine having a panic attack

I'm hoping to free myself of self-doubt and inhibitions...I have anxiety for no reason other than I keep doubting myself (when I have no reason for..I get anxiety and I question myself and get more anxiety...its lame)

Yea man, I get what you're saying. And if you're feeling all introspective just think about it, if it seems interesting at the time, go for it, but if it doesn't just move on, that could show you a lot too. But afterwards, if you do get over it, you'll have that 'LSD afterglow', and just remember to not lose the lesson you learned from your trip, because that's one of the worst things you can do. Just try not to go back to the same ideas or whatever that were holding you back. So good luck, and have some fun man.

I know what you mean, the last time I tripped acid was by myself, riding my bike almost alone because it was cold and cloudy out. I had the best feeling of euphoria riding my bike around on empty trails and taking pictures.
Unfortunately it started getting sunny and warm at hour #3 and lots of people started using the bike trial I was on and I was tripping pretty hard at that point so I went home.
So, basically just anticipate the great journey you will have and get lost in nature with your friend, best wishes man, social anxiety shouldn't be a problem if you are isolated.

Re: LSD and Social Anxiety
I would recomend against it. You could potentially make your social anxiety problem way worse. It's best you quit all drugs altogether until you get it figured out.
For instance I developed social anxiety but continued to use drugs, once I eventually quit I was a wreck. Basically no friends, hardly left the house, didn't answer the phone, if I left the house it was with extreme discomfort and awkwardness in social situations. I've been off drugs a little over a year and just now recently am I starting to get myself together. The last year was a mess.
Do whatever you like, I'm not saying this is what's going to happen to you. Perhaps the LSD may help you. I'm just sharing my experience, personally I think it's unwise to use drugs (especially psychedelics) when you have mental health issues.

well, I'm going on an SSRI literally the day after so i think I should be okay...
Honestly...My mental attitude towards people isn't the real problem, its more I just can't control the physical anxiety I get around people...But like I said, when I went for a run yesterday and was in the woods by myself, ALL of my anxiety was gone, just the memory of it remained. When I'm in nature I feel very safe and secure...

Have you ever played one of those flash platformers where you can reverse gravity and walk on the ceiling?
I also suggest a conference with the architect and the magician.

I have social anxiety, but that's what trusted friends are for. Do your drugs with people you know won't try to fuck you over/fuck with you and you should be set.

Think about it, in due time. Not that "I/we/it" give out loans or anything.
