Is it wrong
To steal someone's girlfriend? She no longer loves him, and has been in love with me for years. I am finally starting to realize that I care for her. Her bf was at one time my friend. I feel guilty, but don't know if I should.

Re: Is it wrong
It depends. If she really loves you and you make her happy then she should leave him before she goes to you. That much is perfectly fine. If by stealing you mean helping her cheat on him then no. As long as you're not taking advantage of her feelings for you then in my opinion it's okay.

Does your friend really even want to keep her? Sounds like he fails as a partner. Get in there and show him how it's done :D

Re: Is it wrong
Yeah because you can always rationalise away emotions...
You're doing nothing wrong, if she's not interested in this guy it's got nothing to do with you (except that she's attracted to you, but you can't help being so attractive now, can you?). Get with her already.

This. Just make her break up with her current boyfriend before she gets with you.

Re: Is it wrong
He would never leave her. He is a very insecure fellow, and seems to be holding her back. She just told me she doesnt love him anymore, but she has not broken up with him. They were watching fucking tv together when I called her. How would you suggest I handle this?

I had a similar problem. I just ignored it all and flew away to Kentucky.

Re: Is it wrong
In all honesty, these kinds of things rarely work out for the best. Even if they break up, she will still be dealing with the residual effects of the breakup while you're trying to get involved with her, which will ruin anything you plan to have.
If you really like her, gently convince her to break up with him and give her some time and space before getting involved. You might even want to plainly state that you are interested but that you want her to be over him before you really get together. If she feels the same she will probably understand and then perhaps you will have a chance.

Re: Is it wrong
If you think a girl who wants to literally overlap boy friends is someone for you then go for it. But keep in mind that if she will do this to him, then she may very well end up doing the same to you.
I find it overwhelmingly pathetic when girls/women can't go one fucking month without dating another guy. It's the epitome of our bullshit society and women like that don't deserve to live in my community.

Re: Is it wrong
You can't steal a person, she's not a used car. You're not sneaking into the guys garage in the middle of the night and running away with her. If she wants to be with you go for it. If you do go for it I will await your 'OMG my girlfriend cheated on me' thread next month :p.

Re: Is it wrong
It sounds like your intentions are honorable, just make sure that you aren't actively doing anything in order to break them up. Also, when they do break up, you might want to wait a few weeks before jumping into a relationship with her out of respect for the dude, because that would most likely look pretty bad from his perspective.

Re: Is it wrong
I was in a situation something like this in freshman year of high school.
I had a buddy, we'll call him y, and he had a girl we'll call her x.
Well x and y dated for about 7 months, and at the begginging y and I were good friends. Then we got arrested for battery and he flipped on me like the little chicken shit he is. Anyway, x and I started to get very close before I was arrested and she couldn't believe that he flipped on me. So we hung out and talked on the phone all the time, after about a month of this I told her that she should break up with him and go out with me. She told me that they didn't even care about each other anymore anyway, and five minutes later we were together. Its been 2 years since and we're still together.
Go for it.

Re: Is it wrong
Never works like that when she ain't borke up with him yet, "but oh it's only a matter of time", especially when he won't split either.
She likes the extra attention and can see what you're after, wants the best of both worlds.
Fuck that bitch.
Stay away till they've split and go for it with her if there's a party coming up (you're lucky if they split up before new years eve, always parties around for her and you to be at then).

Doesn't mean you can't be a 'bit on the side.' Ask birdybop for advise on a contactless relationship.
Everyone's a winner.

theres not much you can do at this point other than wait to see what happens
idk tho u see im not a good kid i dont think i can ever be concidered taht again and i give bad advice but u may be able to get somethin out of my opinion
so no its not wrong but its not technicly right
