I used to have the same problem, a lot of the people I associated with were complete and utter morons, especially when under the influence of either booze or weed [or any other drug, for that matter]. I suppose the thing you have to ask yourself is, why do you keep hanging out with these dumbasses? There's always some reason, even if you don't realise it. For instance, back in high school, there was this completely retarded (and I'm being quite literal) kid whom I always smoked with, just because he'd give me free weed, I didn't like him, and he's one of the few people I'd wish death upon, even now, after several years of not seeing him or being around him. So, do you benefit in any way from associating with these dumbasses you mentioned? If the answer is no, then you're either hanging around with them because you have no-one else to associate with, or for whatever other reason. If there genuinely is no reason for you to be around them, then tell them to eat shit and die, it's as simple as that. If you resent them as much as you indicated above, then you shouldn't worry about hurting their feelings, or anything like that--just stop being around them, problem solved.

Yeah, I just don't think the way most of my peers do (16, junior in HS). They aren't in to psychedelia like I am, and seem to have trouble following any discussion more complicated than a Dick and Jane book (when they're high). I really only end up hanging with them on accident.

I do have one good friend to trip/smoke/abusethedrugs with, he's a good cautious erowid reader like me hehe. (that should be required stuff for anyone to use certain substances in my opinion)

i think most of the people i meet are stupid. a lot of them think they're smart, though they can't logically reason or come up with intellectual conversation to save their nuts... that being said everyone is stupid, including you and i. we're all ignorant in the grand scheme of things, and most of the time people not liking each other comes from a difference in opinion or understanding, though it's easier to label them dumb. i have a lot of 'friends', but they aren't really friends anymore, from hs. and looking back our relationships were always based on drug use so they may not be the best of relationships. i still kick it with them though, they're not all bad, i miss old times, and as long as i'm not with them all the time i won't hate them-at this point i've known them for too long to just cut off all contact. but it's really relative to how they're affecting your life. if you can't stand to be around someone, theres one real simple solution...and it isn't murder/suicide, just ditch them and work on yourself. in the end it's something within you that makes you hate, not all them.

that being said, it isn't always all that easy and i constantly hate on stupid ignorant fucks. it's a surprise i've been around &t for so long.
