What do you consider cheating?
So, what do you guys consider cheating? For instance, if your s/o cybered with somebody but never did anything in real life with them, would you consider it cheating? What if they had an online relationship ("i love you"s and all) but no real life interaction? And do you think cheating is okay in some circumstances, or is it always wrong?

Re: What do you consider cheating?
always wrong, and i'd be pissed at my missus for cybering someone.
if you plan to fuck someone else other than your significant other, then they shouldn't be your significant other, simple as that.

Re: What do you consider cheating?
Whether or not I considered cybersex to be cheating, I'd still dump them due to the fact of being so fucking gay.

Re: What do you consider cheating?
Though if you pretended to be the person cybering with her, you could find out how freaky she is.

Re: What do you consider cheating?
As long as it's with another girl, I'm fine with it.

Re: What do you consider cheating?
well, this is an interesting one... with online, i can act a bit kinky to one of my better friends, and we say love you/miss you etc, but at the same time, i don't see what is wrong with saying i love you/miss you to your best friend who you havn't seen in person for 6 years, but still talk to every day.
and i am completely loyal and strong with my significant other.

By the way, I'm not asking you guys for personal advice, I know where I stand. I just want to know your opinions.

Re: What do you consider cheating?
"cheating" implies something secret and wrong.
so let me state what i condsider cheating:
-Her having sex with someone without me knowing it before hand.
...other then that... nope, everything is a-ok (preferably girls though - my man-ego is a man-ego.)

Re: What do you consider cheating?
I have 3 simple rules:
- Don't do it away from your SO if you won't do it with them there.
- Read the menu all you want as long as you don't order (look but don't touch).
- If you admit to fucking up forgiveness is possible; if you hide what you did it's just more dishonesty and is unforgivable.
First rule answers the question I think.

Re: What do you consider cheating?
Currently, I'm a nazi. I'm super loyal and expect the same from my girl. So cheating is anything that hurts my feelings that involves another dude. Harmless flirting is okay in a group environment. But things like chilling with a single male, alone. Not cool. Although if she was friends with him before we got together, what ever. She can stay at his house if she wants. Any touching beyond socially acceptable norms. But the biggest one is: Don't touch dudes, and don't hang out with them alone. If you do this you're basically guaranteed not to slip up. I would never hang out with just a girl and my self if I had a girlfriend.
After my current relationship, I'm going to make sure to keep my guard up and not get attached. I'll consider it cheating if she fucks some one else and doesn't use a condom, fucks some one the same day she sees me or blows off plans with me for some one else. And it's only fair she expects the same from me.

Re: What do you consider cheating?
Yeah I'd consider cyber sex as cheating.
I would break up with my boyfriend straight away if i found out anything like that.
I would feel heaps neglected and unwanted if they wanted some pedo over the internet than me.

Re: What do you consider cheating?
I wouldn't consider cybersex cheating. Stupid, but not cheating.
If there was a relationship with the person, I'd be upset. Probably not as much as if it were in real life.
For IRL cheating, I'd forgive them if it was with a celebrity. As long as they provided details. How they met, what they're like off camera/other, what they're like in bed, pictures of their goodies, a chunk of their pubes, and a set up for myself if possible.
Edit: Only if it was a good celebrity. No Kathy Griffin or lesser Baldwins.

Re: What do you consider cheating?
I have no problems with her doing physical stuff with people, as long as she does it safe (she doesn't, but i wouldnt mind) it's the emotional part wich i see as cheating. So no cybering, no seeing guys more then me exept for if it's family or they happen to live way closer. No sex with people with any emotional attachement to. But if she screws somebody once just cause he's hot...hell, go for it
