i want to get high but i have no weed and already emptied the kief catcher.

i can see there's still a good amount stuck in and around the screen/cracks but i can't figure out how to get at it.

i was thinking rinsing it with water over a coffee filter then dry it, but i dont know if that will ruin the grinder/kief or even work at all.

any ideas?

just scrape ito ut with a knife/paperclip. do the sides of the actual teeth in the grinder too resin tends to cake up on em.

You can generally get a good spliffs worth out of a well-used grinder.

Scrape as much as you can off of it, like what spliffing said, but THEN rinse the grinder with isopropyl alcohol or acetone. Make sure you dry the resulting dissolved kief completely and entirely.

ive tried scraping it off, not gonna happen.

im gonna try rinsing with iso, what would be the best way to dry a pile iso soaked kief?

pour the solution in a a large shallow plate or (preferably) in big pyrex pan. Put a fan blowing over it, then scrape it up when its dry with a razor blade. If you have a heat pad, put that under the pan too.

hit the top and bottom parts of the grinder together over and over again, and it will snow kief like it's christmas

this thread inspired me to clean mine i just scraped it with my pocket knife and hit it on the table heres what i got not that much but im high as a kite right now.

a clean grinder and a few hits of hash. the jar with the used iso is evaporating in the sink with hot water around in.

i just remembered what its like to be high. first time in over a week. ya!.

About a month ago someone posted that if you hold a lighter a few inches under the screen, it vaporizes anything caught in it. I didn't believe this at first but I actually tried it when I was budless and this does work, almost too well. He said to put the top of a soda bottle above the screen to collect the vapors. I never knew how much keef was stuck in that screen, cause it tasted amazing and gave me multiple vapor hits....and got me moderately high.

Yeah but that tends to ruin the edges of the screen. And then nothing comes through the perimeter again.
