Anyway, I'm looking for something that can produce the same affects of laughing gas, but for longer than a minute or two. I love the high, but hate the time.

Anything reasonable?

I assume nitrogen narcosis is similar although i have nothing to base this theory on.

Potentiators, try, for example, getting stoned and seeing if the high lingers, search wikipedia for how N2O is metabolised, what receptor sites it inhibits or hits, and then look for anything that blocks the metabolism to inactives or blocks the re absorption of products. Other than that, just redose, laughing gas isn't too hard to find in large enough quantities to allow a user to take a hit, relax, feel his or herself coming down and then take another.

This is very important.

Some time ago Darwin awards were issued to two EMS workers who used the mask method and ended up suffocating.

N2O isn't metabolized in the body, I'm 99.9% sure it's excreted unchanged when you exhale.

And the CLOSEST thing you can get to N2O for hours is actually PCP. A medium-ish dose will have you feeling very similar to a nitrous high.

Well, "same effects" as in: anaesthetic, numbness and euforia, but several times more so and as a result: far more addictive.

Also comes with an amplified sense of hearing and a partial loss of muscle control in the legs.

DXM is similarish since its also a dissociative, its probably the closest thing besides pcp

I was gonna say go have a 1st-2nd plateau DXM trip and THEN do nitrous...lasts about twice as long for me and its pretty profound.

And of course shrooms :D Though not very much alike....try em together ;)

a larger nitrous supply. it works wonders. kudos if you also hook up oxygen, then well you can go until you run outta gas..

Acid doesn't even come close to what Nitrous feels like.

But if you do Nitrous when you are ON acid, it makes it much more strong and long-lasting

I looked into getting a tank recently. Ultimately, i decided that its too much of a hassle and too expensive. But it seemed that the best lead i was working on was welding supply houses.

Welding supply places are a good place to look, but you have to make sure the N2O is food or medical grade. I know someone who diverted a tank from a dentist's office. Another place you might find nitrous is on the back of a gas delivery truck. Look for trucks with all kinds of assorted gas cylinders in the back, owned by a company like PraxAir or AirGas. N2O cylinders look like oxygen cylinders, but they're painted blue. Never inhale a gas from a canister if it doesen't have a tag with the full name of the contents (nitrous oxide usp). You don't want to huff welding gas.

but it doesn't last much longer, maybe by a couple minutes. No worries though since a little ether can go a long way
