Default Pain killer w/d's

So I'm about to start going through w/d's. And I was wondering if there are some paticuarly helpful tip on making the horrible w/d's slightly less horrid. Smoking weed is out of the question due to a potential drug test each month. I have a couple valiums but those tend to make me angry/depressed.

Any tips?

Are you positive that drinking while withdrawaling is such a great idea? I mean your body is already having a hard time why add alcohol to it? Sure it will help with the mental fix but that is about it...

Imodium works wonders for withdrawals. When I was going through dope withdrawals I was eating like 4 boxes of the shit a day. You'll still feel like shit but it does help a lot.

I can understand how immodium would help, but then arnt you still addicted to an opiod by taking it? I mean wont you eventually have to go through the withdrawals without it? Isnt it just a way to delay the inevidable?

Taper off of 'em. I've heard tramadol can help with it too. But as far as something OTC you can get, I heard that a friend of a friend got into trouble and got sent to rehab, and when he was there he used to take Tylenol PM's to help. I don't know how true this is though.

Taking more drugs in an attempt to solve an existing drug problem will get you nowhere. Do not listen to this guy.

Eat big, healthy meals, even if you aren't hungry. If you have the money, go get a big fuckin steak dinner and you'll be suprised how much better you'll feel.

It may not be an option but try to get your hands on a clonodine(sp?) patch. It's for blood pressure but it'll calm you down alot and help you sleep. You wear it for about a week and it tapers the dose off after about 5 days.

Aside from that, take multivitamins if you don't already. Benzos won't fix the problem but they'll help cushion it.

Sounds like you don't want to taper. I went cold turkey and while its hell for a while it's the fastest way.

I understand that but a lot of the time (and I'm not saying that it happens to necessarily everyone, just to some people) it just ends up with a person moving from one thing to another.

And anyway, call me old fashioned or just retarded but I personally think that to truly quit, you need to do it on your own with your own willpower. I guess though that it must be extremely hard due to the physical discomfort.

well moving from heroin to kratom would be significant progress as kratom is cheap, less addictive, and less toxic.

no. if you only take immodium/opiates when you are withdrawling and never take anything beyond medicinal doses eventually you ween so low to the point where you don't notice the withdrawls.

Don't be a bitch and go cold turkey like a man.

Eat right, drink plenty of fluids, and get lots of rest, just as if you had the flu.

People say DLPA helps, I feel like green tea is nice, kava kava helps some. Smoking pot of course helps.
