Ive also seen this product, but I have the inclination that it doesn't work on any cars in the US. If you look on the order page for the power key, you'll notice it says FIAT alfa romeo or something. FIAT and Alfa Romeo are foreign cars distributed mostly in Poland.
I never ordered this because it was so goddamn expensive, but I have plans to make my own to see how it goes.

Basically its just a piece of flat hardened steel with a hex nut on the end of it.
So I was thinking about getting a drill dit, and grinding it down (on a grinding grinder hahaha) and use it with one of those T shaped hex nut drivers
