L-Dopa (JP, your help please.)
HEY JAYPEE.
Right, i have aquired a number of 25mg levodopa tablets through the means of various sources.
If what you've said all along is correct, these should get me buzzing with all of the immense euphoria you desribed all that time ago.
How many do i need?
What will i feel?
I am -very- interested to see the results of doing this.
Plus any nay-sayers'd be proved wrong- i mean L-dopa doesn't exactly get all of its Parkinson's ridden users out there tweaked off their faces, does it. However on the other side, it pretty much is a means of creating a load of Dopamine.
Well? Should i even be excited for this?
:)

Re: L-Dopa (JP, your help please.)

You Fail.
You know neither my reasoning or incentive.
Take a look at those Google links and give me any one of those sites that accurately portrays this supposedly 'amazing euphoria' that one is meant to receive from L-Dopa.
My reasoning behind this is, i challenged JP ages ago on the fact that L-dopa is not recreational whatsoever, (what with his whole L-Phen coctail simply being meant to replicate the effects of this supplement, and, according to him- taking the actual supplement itself just skips the whole process) and his response to me was a link to a site where some ol' Parkinson's patient was supposedly addicted to his meds.
This did not have me convinced, however. I knew i'd have to go and find the answers myself.
Now, i'm here with 225mg of said drug, and i am in need of JP's advice as to what i'd need to take in order to produce this amazing high he once described. More of a challenge to his whole theory, really.

Re: L-Dopa (JP, your help please.)
Well it seems to me that your just ingesting pure dopamine, at the most basic level. I mean it converts to dopamine in the brain, and is used because it crosses the blood-brain barrier whereas dopamine does not.
I also don't think you can overdose on dopamine, or else most people that own waverunner and ski-doo's would be dead. So take as many as you want. And as always, report back with results.
I'm gonna go out on my lake and ride my waverunner now...

Re: L-Dopa (JP, your help please.)
There is already a thread for this shit, what kind of 'help' are you looking for?
drop the fuckin' drugz 'n see if it works for you!
also; you have 25mg tablets or 250mg tablets? best hope the latter.
L-dopa can be found, easily online.
dosage may vary.

Re: L-Dopa (JP, your help please.)
Yea, what have you? Do you mean sinemet 25/250 (carbidopa/levodopa)? Because a key ingredient there is the cabidopa. I have a hard time believing that a few of those wouldn't have you going pretty good. Especially if you took some B6 AND phenylalanine.
As for LDOPA by itself, I took 2 grams of the stuff and got zilch. Either A) Ldopa requires a dopamine releasing compound (adderal, etc) to make it recreational or B) my shit was bunk, a legitimate possibility, considering how unregulated nutritional supplements are.
I have had good results with the DLPA cocktail, not massive amounts of euphoria, but I haven't taken it en masse or with tryptophan. I just think it's great for getting stuff done. Like a 5 hour energy, only it makes (primarily) dopamine as opposed to PEA.
There are 2 questions at hand:
1. How much LDOPA becomes dopamine on the right side of the BBB?
2. If excess dopamine is produced, but northing's around to release it, does it even make a difference?
Partial answers:
1. Unless you have massive B6 in your bloodstream (thus supercharching that decarboxylase enzyme) SOME LDOPA will make it across the BBB.
2. I thought I remember JP (JAYPEE, lol) citing something that said that extra dopamine in storage WILL mean higher dopamine in the synapse (which makes sense).

Re: L-Dopa (JP, your help please.)
Well i have 9 tablets of 50mg L-dopa 12.5mg of Benserazide- this product called co-beneldopa.
The Benserazide obviously has little theraputic effects, but acts as a decarboxylase inhibitor for all the dopamine to reach my CNS instead of just fucking around with my PNS and causing horrific adverse reactions- as we know.
On seeing this pill in front of me, only now i realise how inconvenient and undoable JP's system was..
I mean.. i have JP's entire system in one tiny pill.
I think i'd rather go for this small pill instead of all that shit JP made us do.
ANYWAY- enough rambling. How many should i take, guys.
-update-
I took 5 and i feel absolute shit. I feel dysphoric and i swore/yelled at my best friend.
This Sucks.
JP, your means of getting more dopamine may have been correct, but the resulting effect is horrible.
This= Fail.

Re: L-Dopa (JP, your help please.)
A KEY COMPONENT OF THE DLPA COCKTAIL IS THE DECARBOXYLATION TO PEA!!!
Ldopa by itself might increase available dopamine stores, but PEA will release it. You can't just take PEA 'cause it gets eaten by enzymes to fast. It needs to be synth'd endogenously from AAAD and DLPA.
You should have taken B6 and DLPA with u'r LDOPA. No wonder it fail'd

All the peripheral decarboxylation inhibitor does is make sure that LDOPA gets decarboxylated to dopamine on the Brain side of the BBB. Also, without sufficient B6 preloading, it'll take too long to become dopamine and you won't get any massive substantial increase. Furthermore, you didn't take any Phenylalanine, which, as I mentioned before, is needed to RELEASE dopamine created.
While I imagine taking the LDOPA/Benserazide did increase dopamine in stores, which had some spillover to the synapses, without substantial PEA synthesis from phenylalanine, it probably remained stored.

Re: L-Dopa (JP, your help please.)
Ah, sheeyut.
Fuck- now, i'll have to go back to L-dopa source and in the mean time shop for some 'Phen at Holland&Barrett.
So, by completing all of these various requirements-
got any idea as to what this overload of active Dopamine'll do to my system, and therefore the type of effect it'll have?
Also i seem to not remember 'Jo ever explaining what we'd have to do if we had L-dopa & decarboxylase inhibitor as a complete drug at the ready.
Then again, i doubt anyone'd be as fortunate as to come across it.
Are either D/DL Phenylalanine sufficient?
Also, my apologies for not fully understanding Jo's excessively high-leveled Chemistry-based jargon. I am but 16 after all. :(

Re: L-Dopa (JP, your help please.)
Meh, i previously assumed my age bore no ties whatsoever in terms of my ability to contribute towards BLTC.
However i feel inadequate for not knowing teh whole theory better :(
So i'm guessing alot of you fully understand the technical intricacies and knooks and crannies of Jo's theory?
Well, maybe you do. But i do notice alot of people within BLTC possess the sly ability to exaggerate at will/ exacerbate their individual levels of ability. This may bring luls for you, but not for me- mainly due to feelings of inadequateness.
Oh well.

I feels all sad naw!!
I insufflated 45mg of D-amp prior to this post. Only fair to warn you.
No worries. You HAVE to question the man (or anyone for that matter). My only advice on that matter is do it politely. Make no enemies. Honey>Vinigar for fly catchin' and all that.
Otherwise, I'd say wait 4 JP input before re-dosing. How the fuck'd you source bens/LDOPA anywho? I'd be guinea piggin' myself if I could get some. I'm currently workin' on an online pharmacy source. I see lots of potential here. Any data you provide for this purpose would be very helpful.
Although, I'm a tad surprised you didn't get anything ('cept dysphoria) with just the beneldopa. Hmm... Who knows. I was hoping that there was some magically undiscovered, highly recreational, UNSCHEDULED shit that was readily available, but no such luck. The use of a PDDI (benserazide) should show great potential.
Caution though, I'd start SMALL. You can always (hopefully) re-up on beneldopa, but not so much with brain cells. I think pre-loading with B6 about 2 hrs prior to dosing should be sufficient. Don't know how much though. Standard B6 suppliments contain 5000% (yea, 5x10^3%) which seams like sh!t-ton more B6 than any normal person should consume. But, then again, a standard 5-hr Energy (the stuff in those small bottles) has something like 2000%. Might be the cost of doing business. Do some reading.
As for DLPA (or LPA, shouldn't make much of a difference, especially if PEA is our aim) I also don't know much for dosage. I'd guess 500mg, but more might work better.
But yea, the most significant aspect to your cocktail is the benserazide. Considering that >50% of all the bio-products of the cocktail are probably made peripherally (wrong side of the BBB) the PDDI should SERIOUSLY jack up the potency.
As for doses of the beneldopa, you mentioned 50/12.5 LD/BZ? that seems like a weird size, you sure your source's legit? With sinemet the minimum dose is 100/25 LD/CD. Strange. Just sayin'.
As for a dosage guess, I'd say drop 2000% B6 at T-2hrs; at T-0 500mg DPLA (or LPA) and one beneldopa pill (50mg LDOPA, 12.5mg Benserazide). Wait 2 hrs. If you feel nothing, post back. If you die, I'm not liable. (PDDI might REALLY jack the cocktail, so...beware)

Well, that was the theory. The empirical data...

all i felt was nauseous
...suggests that the exact opposite of theory is what actually occurred.

Namely, dopaminergic depletion in the CNS and overload of peripheral D2 receptors.
Why? How? Were your pills shady mexican knockoffs? We'll never know...
