i mean all weed sucks to my california weed, with a few exceptions (like BC), but it seems like it'd be particularly bad in the uk. I hear they smoke tons of hash over there, which would go with the shitty-weed theory? so does it suck in the UK? why live there then?

Nowadays, ~70% is homegrown, 20% shipped in in gigantic bales from Africa and 10% imported from EU, most probably originating from Amsterdam. Those figures were based on having spoken to a forensic toxicologist who specialised in analysing recreational drugs & trying to determine their whereabouts, and so are probably bullshit.

I can't exactly comment on the quality of the pot in comparison to American weed, but it appears to do the job.

Dude you can't say a certain area has good weed. There is good weed everywhere you just gotta know who to get it from.
