Better Living Through Chemistry Discussions of any and all sorts of mind-warping chemicals, pills, booze, mind machines, trippy stuff, current street prices, importing pharmaceuticals, smart drugs, nutrients, herbs, and altered states. Default Smoking - causes aches tight joints???

WTF. Sometimes when I smoke way too much my joints lock up and I can't move my joints correctly. It gets really achey in my spine and my knees and I have to bend my knees and arch my back when I walk. I can never find a position to get comfortable in without feeling achiness in my back.

someone told me once that smoking dries up joint fluid, is this true?

Well that's the first time I've heard anything of this sort, so I'm going to say "no."

Consider especially marijuana's medical uses for those with arthritis!

You're probably just high. :)

Yeah your probably just high, I mean if you smoked usually you get high, and if you don't get high you got sold fake bud.

So to answer your question, don't buy fake bud and you won't have a problem with not getting high.

^ I still don't fucking get how people get fake bud. Unless you pay for the product without getting to look at it and the dude runs off, there's no way anyone should ever end up with bunk stuff.

This happened to me the other day, I thought it was my joints being dried out so I drank a shit load of water but that didn't help. I think I was just paying more attention to slight pain that was already there.

Just keep yourself well hydrated when you're smoking.
