Re: Can cats get high?
yes. I have a very funny story about that.
It was the fall of 2006 or so and I was hanging with the homies. We started smoking weed and then my friend blew air into the cat, and the cat started purring and my friend got scared because he didn't know if purring was a sign of comfort or imminent attack.

Re: Can cats get high?
Yes, cats can get high.
BUT, they don't have the chemicals(?) in their body to get rid of the THC, so the cat will be high for the rest of it's life. If it inhales more THC later in it's life, it will add to the THC already in it's system.
Also, you can kill a cat by feeding it a cup of whiskey.

Re: Can cats get high?
Yea, you can get cats high, as everyone already said. One time I was chilling with my buddies outside, and this cat comes up out of nowhere, and we're petting it and everything, then we decide it'd be a good idea to blow smoke into it's face to get it high. So every time we exhaled we blew it into the cat's face. At first the cat ran away, but he always came back, then, the last time we did it, the cat tried to run, but ended up just walking.

Re: Can cats get high?
When i was dealing acid i was at a friends house dropping the liquid onto sugar cubes. I accidentally spilled a little bit on his table, before i could put it on the sugar cubes his cat jumped up on the table and stepped right in the puddle of LSD! After that the cat started to go crazy (running around the room frantically, making all kinds of weird noises, etc). It was really funny at the time...

Bullshit.
If THC never left a cat's system what you're saying is it would constantly be in it's blood stream. So what happens if a cat is exposed to excessive amounts of THC? The level of THC in it's system just climbs until it reaches a high enough concentration to kill the cat? Yeah, don't think so. By that logic my 10 year old cat should be long dead from sitting in smoke filled rooms.
And cats won't drink whiskey. They probably won't drink anything with a high alcohol content. My cat will start moving back from the sent of alcohol it finds it so offensive. I'd have to force it down its throat if I wanted it to drink any. That and from what I have read the average house cat has a half pint of blood in its body [~120ml] so yeah, drinking a cup [~240ml] of hard alcohol would kill it. It would be equal to you drinking about 16 cups of alcohol [3840ml].

Lol, it is true.
You don't get very high from sitting in a smoke filled room do you? Yes, slightly; but not much.
And yeah, a cup would kill it, if you could get it to ingest it.

Re: Can cats get high?
When cats become ill you should give them a little vodka. Fairly when known medicine for the kittayz.

By 'cat/kittays' you mean girls right?
And by 'ill' you mean sober, right?

well my 2 cats always show up at night when me and a friend light some bowls at night. I wonder if they show up for the high? My cats must be little druggies.

Haha, that's bullshit. Do you even know anything about the central nervous system? Do you know the first thing about how THC works??? Didn't think so. Read up and then come back!!!
