To fill out five pages you can reference Reagan's star wars, and the Clinton/Bush Ageis fleet, both of which threatened mutual assured destruction, same as the nuclear shield in Poland does.

I would draw similarities between these different nuclear shield programs, to help my opinion whatever it may be in regards to the current international crisis.

If it has to be more about policy, you can research the various nuclear treaties...there was one, I believe Bush opted out of between us and Russia in which we both agreed NOT to create a nuclear shield program that would threaten M.A.D.
