Re: i'm sensitive to psilocybin
is this a troll?
I think the only weird thing is when someone would be completely insensitive to a drug... as if someone where lacing someone's food with drugs that bind to receptors, have a higher affinity than known drugs, yet they don't create any sort of effect besides knocking good molecules off of brain cells...
If the government is after you, please reply to me instead.

Re: i'm sensitive to psilocybin
Have any of you actually done psilocbin-containing mushrooms, are you just posting moronic responses here to increase your post count? Because I'm guessing the latter.
Psilocybin sensitivity means that he's able to take a smaller dose than the rest of us and get the same effects. Let's say a good percentage of us take 3.5g of shrooms to get high, OP might have to take 1.5 or 2, maybe less for the same effect.
OP, I'd recommend taking DMT in smaller-than-usual doses and seeing how that works out for you.

Re: i'm sensitive to psilocybin
Some people have true hypersensitivities to drugs, including psychedelics where a threshold dose for most people will have them either really tripping balls or going into shock/seizure/allergic reaction, etc. The latter effect is more common with a real hypersensitivity. Otherwise it could just be that psychologically you are more aware of the perceptual changes.

Re: i'm sensitive to psilocybin
going into shock/seizure/allergic reaction, etc.
That would be me with shrooms. The last two times I took them were both bad experiences. My second to last time was when I had a full blown tonic/clonic seizure. I was on acid at the time, too, but had never had any symptoms of a seizure at all. When I threw mushrooms into the mix, though, is what set off my seizure. The last time I did it was the same thing -- acid + mushrooms = seizure. Acid alone has NEVER given me a seizure, so I'm assuming that my brain is not friends with mr. psilocybin.

...its a good thing we all have a good understanding of English and, therefore, can tell the difference between "sensitivity" and "hypersensitivity" and probably an idea of what "insensitivity" and "hyposensitivity" mean. I suggest using an "educated guess" instead of just a standard "guess" because you have the option to choose the more intelligent one. I hope you can guess which one that is.

Just eat the shrooms, and smoke the DMT....thank me later....
If you think you'll be sensitive, start small.

Re: i'm sensitive to psilocybin
I believe that since you are sensitive to psilocybin there might be a cross sensitivity to other tryptamine based hallucinogens such as DMT.
Cross reference the calculated sensitivity of dose of mushrooms to the "regular" doses of DMT just to be safe.

If everyone here had a good understanding of English, including yourself, it would be known that the term "educated guess" is a noun and not a verb.
Shut the fuck up, you're not as intelligent as you want to appear.

Re: i'm sensitive to psilocybin
Is it really that big of a deal?
I mean could someone who's sensitive actually OD(if its even possible) on a what would be considered a medium dose for a "normal" person?
And if OD isn't the concern, what else could go wrong?

Hold it right there, Herr Grammar.
The passive voice is never O.K., even in the subjunctive mood. You should know better than to do such a thing.

Myths
1. Use of the passive voice constitutes a grammatical error.
Use of the passive voice is not a grammatical error.
Do you know better than the University of North Carolina?
I don't think so.

Re: i'm sensitive to psilocybin

No; split infinitives aren't grammatical errors either, but they sound just as asinine as the passive voice. Let's move past the utilitarian mindset and try our best to make English actually flow and sound nice... you know, catch up with the rest of the world.
Save that passive voice stuff for your lab write-ups, boy.
Err, what I mean to say is, try to not let English be spoken like a broken language.
Read that sentence aloud and tell me you don't want to punch yourself in the throat for saying something so obnoxious. Now if you would kindly pay attention to the rest of the link you provided, you will see that the passive voice is frowned upon because it can often "weaken the clarity of your writing". In your case, you really should have used the active voice ("you would know" rather than "it would be known"). You could have said "everyone would know" also.
I guarantee you that ten times out of ten, you use the passive voice where you could create a much less ambiguous sentence by using the active voice. Guarantee it.
Now at the risk of wasting time splitting hairs (any more time than I've already wasted, anyway) I'm done talking about this bullshit. Since you will inevitably take this as a case of me admitting that my skills are inferior to yours and running away like a chicken-shit, I'll save you the trouble: my skills at unambiguous and eloquent communication are clearly inferior to yours. I should probably be hunted down and killed for being so lame.
(lol, passive voice)
