The gov't has info on SIN numbers. You can always get a new one. Look online for what to do. I lost my birth certificate once and got a new one in about 3 weeks. It's the same thing. They won't just let you be homeless.

You must be incredibly stupid if you lost your job and can't get a new one cause you don't have a SIN card, lol. And now you're going to be booted out? Technically, you can't be evicted in Canada during winter, it's the law. As for the SIN number. Get on a bus, and go to the local government building with two or three pieces of ID. Stand in line for a few hours, and they'll tell you what your number is, and have a new card sent to you. All you need is bus fair, or walk. Maybe pack a little lunch for yourself. If you're lucky, you might get raped under a bridge during your journey to the local government building.
