So I just got home from work and broke out out 2 lines of blow from what I had left this day. I did them with no problem and felt rather nice. About 20 mins later (still high on coke) I crush and snort 2 20mg oxycontins. I do a huge line up each nostril. No pain or blood. While Im finishing the reminants on my mirror I notice the straw is bloody and so it my right nostril. It was dripping blood but it was nothing a little toilet paper couldnt fix. Now ive been snorting coke all day at work in little bumbs, there was no blood. Was it the coke? I also did not take off the time release on the oxy, does that cause nose bleeds? I engage in both these habits weekly, not everyday but I do it enough where I know my right nostril should not be bleeding. Does anybody know what caused this, the coke or oxy? Im kind of freaking out because Im thinking my nose is starting to get fucked up and wont be able to snort anymore:(. The bleeding has stopped but this has never happend to me before from snorting ANY substance and its not just a bloody nose because it was only in one nostril. And no my shit was not cut, I get it all the time from the same person and like I said before I was doing little bumps all day at work.

Can anyone explain this? Was it the coke? Oxy? Both? Or just my own personal sinus problem? Has this happend to anyone before while experimenting with the same class of drugs? Most important of all, How the fuck do I fix it?

Probably the coke. It could have been either though, or a combination of both. I used to get terrible nosebleeds when I was sniffing a lot of oxy every day.

Don't sweat it man. Just take it as a sign to switch nostrils and/or preferably giving railing a rest all together for a bit. This kind of shit happens. If anything I'd say it was ultimately the coke doing more damage.

Could be. Are you snorting the powder really hard? Almost every coke noob that isn't warned ends up sniffing too hard and causing a nose bleed. Over time your nasal cavity gets callous due to scar tissue, you won't be able to accurately tell if you are snorting too hard. Calm down the pace at which you sniff and wean yourself off intranasal drugs for a while. Maybe one of your nostrils accumulated more/less scar tissue than the other?

You'll be alright, besides, it is JUST a nose bleed. It happens when you sniff stuff, your nose really isn't used to it. You have to expect that your nose is going to get a little upset that your sending shit flying through it. Though, just give it some time to heal, and you'll be just fine.

Probaly a good sign that you should put the shit down then, dont ya think man? Snorting anything over long periods of time will take a heavy toll on your nostrils, especially cocaine.

Severely deviated Septum/Muccous membrane damage would be my guess

I dont do it all the fucking time, recently its been every week now but before I used to do it every month. You could call me a cokehead if I do it everyday or spend all my money on it and I do not engage in either habit. I doubt I have a deviated septum because I did coke today also with no bleeding.

Your nose can bleed from snorting anything, especially if you snort a lot.

My dads nose still bleeds every morning from when he use to be huge into coke in the 80's.

Didn't say you were. I gave you two example of ways people cause themselves to have nose bleeds with snortable drugs.

Snorting powders dries out your mucous membranes in your nose. When they get dry they crack and bleed. Over time you will also errode the tissue which will lead to recurrent bleeding even when you're not snorting anything.

Sounds like it's from the Oxy. Probably brought on by the 5 years of snorting drugs. Personally I don't rail shit anymore.
