Just watching this show and theres a chick on there saying that she still breastfeeds her 8 year old girl and her 9 year old misses it so much she asked for breast milk for her birthday. The husband also suckles/drinks breast milk when they're having sex.

well the kids in the documentary i saw it in lived out on a reasonably remote farm and i think they were homeschooled.

all the same i suppose it depends how tolerant your peers are going to be. i wouldn't isolate someone because of it but i also wouldn't do it myself. its just a lifestyle choice really. and in our increasingly democratic and equal society why shouldn't they be accepted? we've been learning how to accpet homosexuals, different races and men accept women. that being said not everyone has caught up with times.

Well first off cow milk is intended for cows, not humans.

Secondly all the cow milk you buy is pasteurized. That means it has been boiled to kill off bacteria. Proteins are like a very complex code, that is sensitive to heat. When they heat the milk, they denature the proteins, removing the beneficial properties of them in the process.

Not to mention the shit they feed and juice dairy cows with. They get little exercise and are fed insane amounts of hormones (which are passed along into the milk).

So really cow milk is more similar to hormone water then anything else.

The proteins in human milk are not denatured, and unless the mother is a junky, the milk should be clean and free from toxins and excess hormones.

Anyways, back to the video, I think it's ridiculous to still breast feed your children at that age. I don't care if it is said to give higher IQ levels, it's only natural to breast feed up until a certain point. You don't see other animals feeding their babies milk still at that age in their lives. They cut their young off as well, and there's a reason for that. I don't think children that age needs the nutrional value in the milk anymore. The vitamins and minerals in the milk help in developing essential functions of a childs body, which would already be developed at age 9.

Second, those kids have teeth. I would not want to trust that kid near my boobs. You know how kids are from like 4-7, they think hurting people is funny.... that would hurt like a bitch.

Oh, and another thing is in the video, she said the kids love her breasts. They don't criticize the stretch marks, that they sag, or that they are different sizes. They even gave them NAMES and drawing pictures of them. I think that is not pyschological healthy, they are TOO attached if they are drawing pictures and naming them.

i don't understand your point about the meat. eating meat is something that plenty of animals do, drinking another animal's milk is something that (correct me if i'm wrong) no other animals do.

you don't have to completely cut out cows milk forever, people have been drinking it for centuries. that doesn't make it natural or good for you. we have also been smoking tobacco and consuming alcohol for centuries.

anyway milk in general is made for infant animals that are growing...its more fat than an adult, who has finished growing, needs.
