I smoked some INSANE kb a couple of weeks ago, and for some reason, all these memories came back to me, like memories when i when i was little. INSANE detail. Like how i went to a muesiem when i was 5 and WHAT I ATE! It was like i had crystal clear memory from forever ago. I'm also still finding it easy to remember things.

Maybe note exact childhood trips or memories but when I've smoked there's often been a great sense of nostalgia for my time growing up.

This is personally one of the reasons I still smoke. And actually, during my first year of smoking, I spent like 3 months doing nothing but writing down the nostalgic feelings that came about.

Reminiscing whilst smoking about your first times toking is great ... probably my favorite memories of my teenage years. Two stories always come to mind.

(1) My best buddy at the time and our first bong, bought from another friend for $10. It was pink acrylic, about 15" tall, with a giant bubble at the base, which was named "Bob" and passed from an elementary friend, to the friend that sold it to us, and then finally landed in our hands. Great times. Had a carb hole and Graffix jester sticker. Man I miss that thing.

(2) That same friend had an old car in the driveway which never ran, so we used it for hotboxing purposes. Creep quietly outta the house, slip into the car, and smoke up with "Bob," our bong until we were crimson in the eyes.

Anyways...

shit last night i smoked some good ass bubble hash i bought from a clinic this summer and started thinking heavily about the whole day the very first time i smoked weed when i was 8. i had just come home from school in like 2nd grade and was a snooping little shit at that age and was rummaging around my parents room. i found some fucking killer ass weed that my dad use to grow. was probably some of the best pot i've ever smoked, i remember the smells and looks very distinctly, but at first i didn't even know what the fuck it was. so i had waited a couple hours for my brother to get out of school and get home, he was like 12 or 13 at the time, was also one of his first times smoking pot. anyway we split it, he made me a little pipe, and sent me on my way. went to the bike trails in the woods and lit up, burning the shit out of my eye lashes and eye browes. i dont remember much after that, but i do remember being hella lethargic when i got home some time after, and having to pull the singed hair off of my face.

Yeah, I remember I used to get this feeling when I'd toke as if I was a little kid again. It wasn't memories, it was just the feeling. I felt like I was 5 again, just a little kid with no cares in the world. It's like this really nostalgic feeling as if you're exploring this unknown world. I can't really describe it's just kinda like a state of mind, but it feels really good.

It makes me look at my life from an analytical, almost third party, point of view, generally defining moments from my past.

Smoking some hash one time I recalled a forgotten series of events from the second grade that involved me hitting another kid in the groin repeatedly. I damn near cried laughing, and suddenly the way he'd acted around me in middle and high school made much more sense. I used to chase him down just to kick him in the balls to impress some chick in my grade, and probably because I was an aggressive little shit too. That's about it for recall on bud.

On a high dose of acid I decided to cut through my old elementary school on the way to the park. It was like living my childhood there in three minutes. Almost overwhelming, but it gave me a laugh and a smile later. I've also relived events while talking about them on higher doses, but most of those were within the last three years as opposed to childhood memories.

Keep it that way as far as drugs go, (ANY illicit drugs) if you want to continue to legally bear arms in this state. From one Ohioan to another. Didn't mean to hyjack the thread.

Hey i get this, I remember a suppressed memory of me being molested, sort of weird...

i have only been smoking weed for about a year, but i look back on them as the finest and funnest times of my life.

I don't get it often but sometime I can get this third party view of old childhood memories. A couple times it got to the point of me being in my head during the memory and remembering my thoughts about the situation and then being able to think about it. It just makes it worse since I am a naturally analytical person whose favorite hobby is to dissect thoughts, opinions, and people whilst stoned off his ass. The memories, on the other hand, are what caused some disturbing realizations of my childhood and why I am myself.

When I first started smoking, every time I would get high I would re-experience a part of my childhood or past that couldn't be remembered by normal means. I think the weed made it so the emotional blockage could be bypassed and you could see these old memories.

I'm talking old memories. Like figuring out how to put words together. Being in the crib, being in the womb.
