Default ZFS under FUSE for Linux

I have sort of been waiting for this project to come along for some time, since the maintainer has decided to make a release which is stable enough for the general public, I have decided to build RPM packages for the project also.
(None already exist)

ZFS is a filesystem created and written by Sun Microsystems for the Solaris operating system. It has many useful features that appeal to most administrators, and probably some end-users alike.

The packages I have built for Fedora Linux are available here:
http://autopsy.liveprojects.info/REPO/RPMS/i386/

The SRPM is available here:
http://autopsy.liveprojects.info/REPO/SRPMS/

The original project website is here:
http://www.wizy.org/wiki/ZFS_on_FUSE

ZFS has many great features, like pooling, which allows addition of storage space nearly transparent to the administrator, or user. Similar to LVM already designed for Linux, but just not the same.

For those wanting to experiment with ZFS, simply install the RPM or if you compile from source, after make install, start the /sbin/zfs-fuse daemon and then all of your ZFS tools are available.

0.5.0 has asynchronous IO fixed among some other things.
Since ZFS does compression transparently, it is just a bit slower than Ext3.
This is what the developer has said in his blog.

I have yet to benchmark anything, but I will soon and post back.
