Drug sniffer dogs - Beatable?
I don't mean beating them up, we all know that's possible :D What I'm asking is if there are any concrete ways of getting by undetected?
There are threads dedicated to drug testing but not this and yet this is just as important as far as I'm concerned.
I'm really looking for proven systems of doing so, like being sniffed but not busted and how that managed to happen.
I was walking past a pub the other night when a pig and a dog walked out and I had to put a lot of effort into not looking suspicious as I told the person I was with that perhaps we should go back the way we came or cross the street...You know I had nothing on me but who knows, people plant drugs on other poor saps all the time...

Re: Drug sniffer dogs - Beatable?
throughly wash hands and tools with polar and non polar solvent... wear gloves that have never been around the drugs preferably have yourself pretty fucking clean, not something to do after hot boxing your car....
put drugs into vacuum bag, vacuum out air and seal. careful not to let anything touch the outside of the bag that came into contact with anything.... take off gloves, clean hands again, clean bag again, seal this bag into another bag and wash again....
hopefully their is nothing on the outside of the bag....

Hide the drugs in a package of meat, the police should think the dog is going for the meat. Who hides drugs in the fridge anyway?

Re: Drug sniffer dogs - Beatable?
If you're not dealing, and you're just using, then the obvious solution is just to dose before you go out. If you're dealing, or if you need to move your stash for some reason, then as stated above, vacuum sealing (and taking care that no residue gets on the outside of your bags) is about the safest method. I've heard anecdotally that putting chilli/chilli flakes into your bags/on the outsides of your bags can help, but I've yet to try it, so I can't say either way.
I know you're an Aussie, but I'm not sure about your state, but in Adelaide they've actively got numerous dogs wandering around the CBD, even at off-times, such as Tuesday nights and during weekdays. They're getting pretty heavily into it down here, not sure about elsewhere. Not really relevant to the thread, but just out of morbid curiosity, how common are pig dogs up there?

Well I'm in a smaller place (not Canberra as suggested) but they still come every couple of weekends and during events.
I actually very rarely encounter them because I go out later on in the night and they've usually done their sting...I mean who goes out trying to deal late on in the night?

I've been offered rolls at like 5am on Hindley Street in Adelaide, but fuck paying $30 a roll. The piggies seem to always have dogs out, but rarely seem to catch dealers for some reason.

Re: Drug sniffer dogs - Beatable?
It's all about not having the smell of the item permeate the packaging that it is in. Everything is porous to some degree. Most plastic bags you have a little time before it starts going through, so wrap it up good right before you leave and be quick.
Vacuum sealing doesn't always help. The better method is to not give police a reason to believe they need to use dogs and you will be fine. ;-)
For long trips, remember to vaso up your bags. That's right, kiddies, take your item (which will likely be in a plastic bag of some sort) and put seran wrap all around it. Then wipe vasoline all around that, more seran wrap, more vasoline, more seran wrap, another bag. And voila! You have about 20 hours of safety for sure. Possibly upwards of 36 hours.
But always remember, if you can't do the time, then please don't do the crime. Snitches are bitches. :-)
Happy trafficking!
your friend,
-zel

Re: Drug sniffer dogs - Beatable?
If you try to mask the smell with something stronger, it won't work. Dogs can sniff out each individual smell, so there is no way to mask the smell of the drugs...

Re: Drug sniffer dogs - Beatable?
Have you guys checked out the never get busted website? He has a bunch of sample videos, and he sells a DVD. One of the best pieces of interesting knowledge that I learned was that almost all drug dogs will go after the scent of prey before drugs, no matter how well they are trained. This means that, lets say you have a hypothetical QP in your trunk, if you have a cat in the backseat, then the dog will completely ignore the drugs and just go crazy over the cat. Or, no matter how unpleasant this sounds, he says fox urine also works for distracting the dogs.

I've heard this is the only way. You cannot fool a drug dog, but you can fool the officer who controls the dog.

A wise piece of advice.
I'll have to second that.

Re: Drug sniffer dogs - Beatable?
What if you froze a vacuum bag in a block of ice and threw it into a cooler? it would take quite a while for odor to permeate through a block of ice...

Re: Drug sniffer dogs - Beatable?
I've never tested this theory personally, it's second hand knowledge but a detective I know from around town who is pretty fucking crooked kind of gives me inside info the few conversations we annually have. Well our last conversation he basically said that if you are runnin drugs pretty often just take your dog with you (preferably an annoying small dog). Since it's property you cannot remove it from the vehicle and it will carry on such a commotion the K9 will not be able to get into its state of mind which allows it to carry out its duties of homing in smells in your vehicle. It's the same concept as how you are not allowed to pet or show affection to a seeing eye dog whilst on duty because it will throw it out of duty and distract it.
Dogs have a very one track mind, throw them off the track the cops want them to be on.

Re: Drug sniffer dogs - Beatable?
Ive heard burying it in the middle of a peanut butter jar works pretty well. And if you throw in some jelly and bread youre good to go. ;)

Re: Drug sniffer dogs - Beatable?
The "stuff shit in cookies/meat/coffee" whatever doesn't hold water because (a) that's pretty fucking common and (b) dogs are trained not to react to such distractions.

Re: Drug sniffer dogs - Beatable?
i would say if you are really into beating the drug dogs because you need to transport, say,a kilo of cocaine, bring your dog, fill your car up with boxes containing household items, telling the officer that pulls you over that you are moving to such and such place.take the vacu-sealed drugs, cover with a heavy layer of vaseline, then placed in another vacuseal bag. place this in the bottom of a greased recycling container, attaching 3 shoelaces at equal intervals along the length of the package, using these strings, suspend the package 2-3 inches above the bottom of the container, then pour molten wax over the whole mess to make a large sized table candle. trim the shoelaces to 1 inch after it hardens, burn them to allow them to char and look like a lightly used candle. it wont get you over international borders, but this method, with the boxes of your shit and the dog to distract any k9 unit, the cop will most likely not want to look through all your shit, and the chances of him breaking open the candle at the bottom of a box and discovering the cocaine,i would say your chances are pretty good of getting away with it.

Re: Drug sniffer dogs - Beatable?
why not just tie some strong fishing line to the inside of the gas tank cap, then just put your drugs into a vacuum sealed bag (doubled wrapped) and drop it into your tank (not all the way down, but just inside).
or.. inside your engine?
or use a glass mason jar, fill the jar up with mineral oil and then put in your vacuum sealed bag (or just the bag).
I would think that would prevent any smells from leaking out.
