I have meth, and I have been smoking it.

My procedure is to hold the lighter under the pipe, (my flame is touching the pipe) until smoke fills the chamber. Then I inhale. Am I wasting by melting it so fast?

Is it better to have broken up shards or just one big one in the pipe?

Also, to smoke crack, do you use direct heat or not? I know you melt it into the brillo pad, or weed, or w/e, but can you hold the lighter directly onto the rock?

I smoke it the same way. It is possible that you are wasting a bit if you wait until the smoke starts leaving the chamber, but whatever. Only thing I can say that would be more productive would be use a torch lighter for -half- the the time. In my experience it works a lot better; however, you don't want to light it nearly as long. Trying to take a deep hit w/ a norm lighter seams to finish the bowl quicker. Three seconds with a torch = massive hit, and doesn't burn to much of it away like you would think. At worst, blue flame it.
