just wondering if anyone has done this, I was talking to an acquaintance about it because he's participated in some local events fighting and he said you get paid even if you lose but you get paid a lot more if you win, don't remember how much he said. anyone know maybe an average?

The average is going to be misleading I would suggest looking for the median income. As an amateur fighter you can expect to make about 12k a year...

Yea it isn't really something you get into for money. I guess you could do what Kimbo did and put up your money against someone elses money in a backyard fight... but Kimbo is big and black.
