Gut feelings
I posted a thread not too long ago about how I thought my girlfriend was cheating on me. That's what I was being told by a friend at least. Well I ended up trusting my girlfriend and taking her side when she told me she didn't do anything. So yesterday I hung out with her and we had a pretty normal day except for the entire day I had this feeling in the back of my head that something wasn't right. I could just feel some sort of tension and I felt distant from her...
It's weird how once you've been with a person for a good amount of time and there's something not right, like she's been cheating or something, you can feel it. You can literally feel that there's been an intruder on your personal relationship. Even with no evidence.
Well the first time I had that feeling with this girl, I ignored it... BAD IDEA. After hanging out with her all day yesterday she told me that a few nights ago she got drunk and the same dude who I suspected her cheating me with the first time kissed her. So I asked if she kissed back and there was a long pause before she said yes. That's when I just got up and said "see ya later" and left the bitch.
I just can't believe some fucking women man. I feel like it's partly my fault though... I had numerous friends telling me when I first started dating her that she's a slut and she's probably cheat on me. I just ignored them though because I really felt like I had something special with this girl, we really did have a genuine connection and understood each other really well. I couldn't imagine her cheating on me. At first she was completely obsessed with me at first.
I guess that fades though... or I'm just bad at holding relationships. I dunno I just had to post this because I had made a thread about her before and how I thought she cheated on me, and then I made the horrible decision of trusting her which led to this.
Should I just never talk to her again? There's no way in hell I'm getting back together with her that's for fucking sure. She still wants to "talk" to me though. I dont know what else there is to talk about...
I gguess point is always follow your gut.

Re: Gut feelings
The bitch cheated on you.
Is there anything else you need to know why you should leave her and never talk to her?
Yes...do always trust your gut, not your head. That's where most people can't get into..is your gut.

Re: Gut feelings
wait so... has she admitted to cheating on you? Like, did she that night, or since then? I dunno. If it's just a feeling, I wouldn't jump into any decision, but if she's cheated on you before...ehhh drop her.

Re: Gut feelings
Cheating is something I can't get over. Some may say it's immature but it's something I find fundamentally wrong. I don't do it so I won't take it from anyone else. It's pretty simple, if you cheat then you'll consider it or do it again. I suggest you say something along the lines of
"thanks for wasting my time, don't bother calling."

I wasn't planning on it. My thought is if she'll do it once, there's nothing stopping her from doing it again and again. Just not fucking worth it.

No what happened was a few weeks ago my friend told me she was cheating on me and I chose to ignore him and trust her. But I still had a bad feeling about it. And now last night she told me did cheat on me. And yesterday I'm guessing I had that feeling because I just sensed it was on her mind or something. That distant feeling ya know.

Re: Gut feelings
Your gut instinct was that she cheated on you, and you were right.
When she confirmed it, your gut instinct was to dump her immediately... so... follow your gut.
Unless you have an open relationship, that's pretty much the only rule I have for girlfriends. Don't fuck around with other guys. I won't fuck other women. Simple. Break that and it's over, go have fun with the other guy.

Re: Gut feelings
Interesting... I can't say I'm in the exact same position, but through the duration of my relationship I've been ignoring these terribly bad 'gut feelings'. I ignore them because, like you said about your girlfriend, he was almost obsessed with me at first and practically begged me to give him a chance. I don't think he's cheating on me, that's not something that ever worried me, but I can feel something isn't right. It's because of this I've been on the verge of breaking up with him I don't know how many times.
I guess I'm saying I can relate to how you're feeling and I have to commend you on being aware of and trusting/listening to your gut, it's not an easy thing to do. I hope you can see good come out of this and realize that you're worth more and you deserve better than this. Karma will take care of her and you'll move on to happier things. Overall you're the winner :)

Re: Gut feelings
At least you didn't see a hickey on her inner thigh while going down on her after not seeing her for days. That one hurts.
Always follow gut feelings.

Thanks a lot I needed the mood lift. But yeah you should be paying attention to those feelings, they tend to be very important. I hope karma has no mercy on her.

Ya rly. My relationships all seem to go to hell after about 6 months of being in the relationship. I don't know if its just me being bad at keeping my girlfriends in line or if its just the girls I date are really that fucked up.
