Re: People who wear Che Guevara T-shirts
Complaining about people who wear Che Guevara shirts peaked around 2006. It's almost 2009, make up a new false-annoyance to complain about.

Re: People who wear Che Guevara T-shirts
It's a fashion statement for the clueless generation of wannabe rebel teens. I think it would be cool though if they started wearing Adolph Hitler t-shirts.

Re: People who wear Che Guevara T-shirts
Everyone likes to berate and criticize people who wear Che Guevara shirts, chastising those as a clueless generation of hypocritical revolutionary would-be's; but none of these people ever even think about criticizing the founding father's of their nation. Those who wrote about liberty for all while they were making private purchases of human beings shipped over here in chains, those who restricted the emigration of non-northern Europeans to their establishment.

Re: People who wear Che Guevara T-shirts
Those shirts are mostly marketed to faux-angsty teens who want to seem like rebels and have no clue about who he actually was or what he truly stood for. When I see someone wearing a Che Guevara shirt, I snicker.

Re: People who wear Che Guevara T-shirts
Complaining about che guevara t-shirts is just as annoying as wearing them. Seriously, it's like there are two types of people, those who think che guevara merchandise is cool, and those who think bitching about them is cool. Suck it up hipster, you arn't impressing anybody.

Someone once posted a shirt that has a picture of che guevara wearing a che guevara shirt. Now that's worth wearing.
But yeah, the real ones suck. As do the Obama ones that are kind of Che style...you know, with his face all serious and shadowy. Meh.

Freedom is relative. For instance, Cubans (Socialists) have the freedom to live and be healthy, whereas Americans (Capitalists) do not:
How is it that Americans spend $6,000 per person on healthcare, while the Cubans spend $250 per person, and yet Cubans have longer life spans than Americans. A baby born in Havana has a better chance of survival than a baby born in Detroit.
Just because your definition of freedom is limited to consumerism, doesn't mean other forms of freedom are less valid.

Re: People who wear Che Guevara T-shirts
theres a kid in a class of mine whos got like 4 of his shirts. i personally see nothing wrong with wearing them as long as u know why u are wearing it and why he was great. i have yet to ask him why he wears them, hopefully hes knowledgeable on him.
i see great inspiration by che, not the communist fact, but the defiance of a tyrannical govt and doing something worthy about it.

Re: People who wear Che Guevara T-shirts
It's too bad so many people complain about those t-shirts, hardly anyone wears them anymore.
I liked it back when you could automatically tell who the biggest asshole in the room was by their Guevara t-shirt.:(
